Hakadreigon usually strikes foes using the hard, flat scales on top of the heads at the end of its arms. It will sometimes intimidate foes by clashing these two scales together while roaring with the main head.
Hakamy makes its home in dark, damp places. If any other Pokémon attack it, it will let out a loud yell, then slowly hop towards them, striking them forcefully with the sharp scale on its head.
As Komdactyl flies through the air, the jangling of its scales sounds like wind chimes. It can swing the sharp scales on it tail at enemies below it with the force of a poleaxe.
Komtini constantly sheds its scales and grows new ones. They are not as hard as the scales of a Kommo-o, and frequently get damaged by attacks before being discarded by Komtini.
Komnair's tail makes a rattling sound when shaken in the air, as do the scales around its head as it sways back and forth. If this loud noise fails to intimidate its foes, Komnair will strike them with the club at the end of its tail.
Komcross clash their metallic horn against the scales on their back, each scale ringing with a slightly different tone. Komcross use this musical sound to work themselves up before battle, but also seem to enjoy playing it outside of combat.
Wild Komtar live underground, mostly using their powerful tail to dig through the earth. They can be used for excavation by human construction workers, as their constantly jangling scales provide a useful warning that they are approaching.
Komtar propels itself through the air by expelling jets of gas from its body. As it does this, the scales trailing behind it jangle like wind chimes, crashing together like cymbals whenever Komtar collides with a solid object.
Komgross is agile enough to leap around, despite the heavy weight of the metallic scales covering its body. It prefers to attack foes by striking them on the head from above, after clenching its claws into fists.
Komking's body is protected by thick fur and scale armor. If it finds a good food source, it will ignore attempts by other Pokémon to frighten it away or remove it by force, preferring to block attacks until they give up rather than striking back.
Many of the stone scales covering Komgron's body are gilded with a thin layer of precious metal and clink loudly whenever it moves. Komgron hoards its own shed scales inside an underground lair, viciously attacking anyone who tries to take any.
The scales on Komdreigon's wings make loud, metallic noises as it flies. This gives other Pokémon a chance to flee, as Komdreigon's three heads will attack anything it sees on the ground below it.
Komron's body is armored by sharp spikes made of rock and metal. It will deter intruders from entering its territory by loudly drumming its tail against nearby rocks, then swinging the same tail like a club if this warning is ignored.
The reflective scales on Komy's head protect it from both physical impacts and sunlight, as the slimy body below dries out easily. Although it is often dismissed as harmless, it can leap up towards foes to headbutt them with surprising force.
The reflective scales on Komy's head protect it from both physical impacts and sunlight, as the slimy body below dries out easily. Although it is often dismissed as harmless, it can leap up towards foes to headbutt them with surprising force.
Komgoo's four antennas give it a keen sense of hearing. In the wild, it will use this to seek out groups of Kommo-o, then jangle its own scales to convince them to let it join their group.
Komdra clatters its metallic scales to frighten foes. Although the rest of its body seems soft, beneath a layer of fat is solid muscle, enabling Komdra to swing its arms and tail with great force.
Komdra's coiled tail is as hard as metal and can be swung around like a club. Komdra mostly avoids combat and constantly sways as it moves to warn other Pokémon away using the musical sound of its metallic scales clinking against its body.
Komtross floats through the air, its trailing scales jingling like wind chimes. In combat, it will charge its muscles with electricity to increase the power of strikes made with its arms or tail, then grab weakened foes with its sucker mouth.
Protected by lightweight scales, Golininja will leap from the shadows to ambush foes with its sharp claws. If this initial attack fails or if it takes a serious hit, it will retreat as quickly and as silently as it appeared.
Golininja will leap from the shadows to ambush foes with its blade, which is sharp enough to cut through steel. If this initial attack fails or if it takes a serious hit, it will retreat as quickly and as silently as it appeared.
Foaura is resistant to the cold and can survive being buried in snow. Whenever the sun comes out, Foaura will poke its head above the surface to take in sunlight.
Luvile are most active in cold regions on clear days, their bright colors making them clearly visible, especially against snow. Any Pokémon that approaches quickly discovers that the serrated edges of Luvile's petals are razor-sharp.
The flowers growing on Luras's back do not have any leaves. Luras nourishes them by climbing up into a tree and gnawing at a branch until it can drink the sap within.
Maintaining Luaura's vivid coloration requires it to get plenty of sunlight, but it will quickly fade if the temperature gets too hot. Luaura prefers clear winter days and will bury itself in ice to make it through summer.
Although it lives in cold environments, Lurorus absorbs sunlight at every opportunity, storing it in its crystals. It can use this energy to make it through dark days in winter or unleash it to produce bright blasts or shimmering barriers.
Wild Carizard fly around inside caverns full of crystals. They attack foes by firing bright beams of heat from their glittering belly, passing these beams through the gemstone at the tip of their tail to focus them like lasers.
Cartoise's diamond shell attracts the attention of Sableye. Once they realise that it is far too big to eat, these Sableye stick around to help Cartoise by loading gemstones into its cannons, which it then fires at foes using pressurized water.
Cartoise's diamond shell can endure immense heat and pressure. In addition to jets of water, Cartoise's cannons can also fire sharp fragments of gemstones or shimmering blasts of bright light.
Chesagon's thick wooden skull is covered with hard spikes, making its headbutts very dangerous. Chesagon will run headfirst into trees to make nuts and berries fall from them.
Venoitty is incredibly affectionate and will run up to people walking in forests at night to try to get them to stroke it. Unfortunately, the long, stiff hairs on its body are incredibly itchy if they make contact with bare skin.
Quilelgon's body is encased in a hard wooden shell to protect it from damage. It eats almost nothing, relying on sunlight for nourishment until it is ready to evolve.
Chesizard fly around their territories, dropping seed bombs from above on any intruder. Over time, the rugged mountains they claim transform into dense forests.
Fenneno has a great hunger for wood and will seek out dry sticks to chew on. They seem to locate them simply by listening for the sound they make when they break underfoot.
Whenever Braino gets excited, the twig on top of its head will burst into flames. Braino will use this to set fire to nearby objects until it burns out, at which point Braino will begin searching for a replacement.
Deldos always carry a burning branch and will use it to set fire to flammable objects, including human homes. After watching it burn for a few minutes, they seem to show remorse and will create fire breaks to stop the flames from spreading too far.
In winter, Delking stares into the campfires it creates and can see the future in the flickering flames. After scrying for the next year, it will always be found at locations with plenty of berries and nuts, getting there before any other Pokémon.
The body that Froatomb projects out from its Odd Keystone is entirely made of water and bubbles. If it vanishes entirely, Froatomb may have been knocked unconscious, or may just be hiding within the keystone to surprise foes when it remerges.
Froaloom conceals itself in lakes by submerging everything except the lily pad on its head. It can ambush foes by suddenly leaping out of the water and striking with its powerful tail.
To prevent its skin from drying out on land, Froaish covers itself in foam. These bubbles contain toxic chemicals that can painfully irritate the skin, protecting Froaish from attacks.
Frogish moves its round body by hopping around. It can fire bubbles out of its head with great precision, delivering dissolved toxins to other Pokémon while remaining at a distance.
Gretomb is constantly surrounded by a whirlpool of water, trapping anyone who gets too close. While it is safer to keep away, the swirling water can fling out shuriken to strike more distant foes.
Whenever Greking sees food, it will drool, soaking its tongue with saliva. Greking can quickly uncoil its long tongue to fling shuriken made from this liquid, taking down its prey by moving only a single body part.
Greloom leaps and spins using its powerful legs. It can catch foes off guard by suddenly extending out its arms to slash with its claws, or by delivering powerful strikes with its muscular tongue and tail.
Greish's body is ringed with sharp blades, and it can conceal itself within a cloud of spores. While it cannot move quickly on its own, other Pokémon occasionally pick it by the tongue to toss like a smoke bomb or spin like a shuriken.
The fire in Torts's head is fueled by coal and burns bright and clear when it senses positivity. If it senses hostility, it will spew out thick black smoke, giving Torts the opportunity to Teleport away.
If people around it are excited, Torlia's fire will burn hotter. In battle, it spins like a dancer, cloaking itself with clouds of smoke and shimmering heat haze produced by its internal furnaces.
Torlade's arms each contain a powerful coal-fired furnace, which increases in temperature whenever it senses that battle is imminent. The smoke that spews out at its elbows is so thick that Torlade can form it into solid blades.
Tornoone's muscles are steam-powered, and it can run at high speed after eating coal and drinking plenty of water. It will topple over if it tries to turn too quickly, so it usually only travels in straight lines.
Pumpsect's back is armored by a thick gourd. Since it lacks roots, it uses its claws to drains nutrients from exposed tree roots, and can grow to great size as the tree slowly withers away.
During the day, Venoco tuck away their wings and hang from trees like pine cones, and only fly around at night. They scatter a dust from between their scales that is both poisonous and highly explosive, so other Pokémon avoid them.
Venomander cannot fly but often flap their wings, shedding powdery scales that burn skin on contact. Venomander are only active at night and will spit out flashes of fire to illuminate their dark surroundings.
As Goursect wanders through forests searching for exposed roots to feed on, a sound like an eerie lullaby echoes out from the hollow, glowing interior of the gourd on its back. It is said to hold the spirits of all the trees Goursect consumes.
Gourlett spends most of its time underground, but its eerie singing can occasionally be heard on the surface. When Gourlett passes beneath them, plants will begin to wilt.
Swiras absorbs sugar from tree sap, then spins it to form the puffs of cotton candy on its back. If touched, these sugary treats will break away and entangle attackers in their syrupy strands.
Swirsect uses the mound of cotton candy on its back to attract Bug-type Pokémon and traps them in its sticky strands. Once they are exhausted by the struggle, Swirsect will strike with its hard candy claws.
Sluras feeds on sap, storing any excess sugar from its food in balls of candy on its back. It prefers to live in forests containing sugar maple trees.
The glossy feathers covering this Pokémon's body are completely waterproof. Unlike most bird Pokémon, Ludigeot prefers to fly in the rain.
While their heavy rock shell makes them hard to damage, it also weighs Minikarp down. With its weak muscles, it struggles to even remain afloat in the water and will sink close to the bottom.
While flying high in the upper atmosphere, Minidos usually remains dormant. It will occasionally start falling to the ground and seems to aim itself towards human settlements.
After shedding its heavy shell, Minikarp becomes much more maneuverable. While it is also more vulnerable to attack, Minikarp can swim fast enough to leap out of the water to avoid attacks and jump up waterfalls.
After crashing into the ground, Minidos's rocky shell shatters, and it will rampage to destroy everything nearby that its initial impact didn't demolish. Once it has finished, it will fly back into the sky to rest and recover.
Charpede uses its powerful tail to roll its body along the ground. When it crashes into a foe, its skin will be red-hot from friction with the ground, and its sharp spines can deliver a burning poison.
Digkid excavates earth by spinning its arms in circles. This enables it to burrow underground quite quickly, although the small tunnels it makes quickly collapse behind it.
Digsect burrows underground with its claws, feeding on plant roots like a fungus. When it emerges above the surface to scatter spores, its round body resembles a mound of earth.
Digeist pokes its long golden hair above the ground to sense its surroundings. Even if this hair is grabbed, it is incredibly difficult to pull up its heavy stone body from underground.
Digeist spends most of its time below the surface, but will occasionally pop up, often right in front of people. It uses its hairlike arms to grab its prey, then drains life from them to nourish its pumpkin body.
Pink diamonds float around Dianbat's golden wings and stone body, but the most valuable are the ones cut into the shape of a heart. Wealthy rulers in the past gave Dianbat as a romantic gift, rather than trying to take its gemstones from it.
This seaside scavenger has a reputation for romance due to the shape of the mushrooms growing on its back. Although often included in so-called love charms, when eaten, they have no effect besides causing a mild stomachache.
To protect itself from harm, Luvsect releases spores that cause relaxation and increased affection. People and Pokémon are often found sleeping next to Luvsect, tightly cuddling its moist mushroom body.
The same muscles that make Luvape's punches so powerful also make them strong swimmers. If it sees a couple in the water it will chase them onto the beach, giving the pair of lovers the opportunity to flee from danger together.

Zigkoal's heavy shell seems to throw it off balance, and it sways from side to side rather than moving forward in a straight line. If threatened, it will tuck in its head and rely on the furry spines on its back for protection.
Although it is slow to get started, Linkoal has incredible stamina and can run all day. Its body becomes hotter and hotter over time, but Linkoal will pant out scorching air rather than stopping.
Both of Wurmfarig's heads ravenously eat tree shoots and leaves. The front head has control of the legs and moves them between trees, but the rear head often looks as if it would prefer to head in the opposite direction.
Silda's steps are unsteady, and it often bumps into trees as it wanders through forests searching for food. These impacts are cushioned by the silk it wears, and it will spin more if this cocoon is ever damaged.
Beautiyama flaps its colorful wings like fans as it pushes around heavy objects, and seems to enjoy drawing an audience. In combat it will mostly strike with its large hands, but may also jab with its sharp mouth.
Casleaf's entire body is covered with hardened silk, making the spikes on its body dangerously sharp. While it mostly tries to remain hidden in trees, if it is approached it will make vicious strikes with its head and knee spikes.
The heads on the ends of its arms are used for burrowing. They don't seem to mind being used for this purpose and give Dugkid an exceptional awareness of the soil it is tunneling through.
Dugdreigon does not dig down through the earth, but sideways. They float up into the air to start their tunnels on the side of slopes, contributing to the erosion of cliffs.
Dugsect's body is controlled by a fungus growing inside it. Although it appears to have three heads, these light-sensing mushrooms all sprout from the same fungus, and share a single primitive intelligence.
Dustpius flies around at night, searching for fruit to eat. While it is too large to land in most trees, it can stand on its hind legs and reach up with its neck to reach the higher branches.
Dustpius usually live in tropical jungles, but may be drawn out by the lights of towns at night. People delivering fruit to grocery stores in the early hours of the morning must take care that Dustpius does not help itself to their merchandise.
Nuzfly flies up to trees to poke holes in the bark with its sharp nose, then drinks the sap that leaks out. While feeding, Nuzfly clings to the trunk and uses its leafy wings to pretend to just be a plant.
To avoid detection, Nuzscoon climbs up into trees and conceals itself among the leaves. While their camouflage is effective for most of the year, when leaves begin to fall they are left exposed to predators.
Swelltail's long tail and strong wings give it excellent maneuverability. It will dive into the ocean if it sees prey swimming close to the surface, but will also lurk underwater to surprise flying Pokémon that land on the water's surface.
Wingtic's beautiful scaled tail draws a large crowd whenever it swims up to the shallow waters off a beach. If anyone in the crowd is carrying food, Wingtic will suddenly lunge for it as soon as it comes within reach of its beak.
It roams the seashore, searching for prey both on land and in the water. It swallows whole anything that fits into its fanged bill.

Surink slides across the ground as if skating, using its psychic power to reduce the friction it experiences. If pursued by a faster foe, Surink will flex its legs to leap away, repeating this until the pursuer is exhausted.
Masqueown rapidly flaps its two wings to float in the air and move in any direction. Before it rains, Masqueown flies into caves, and other Bug-type Pokémon will follow it, as if they also know that rain is coming.
Masquebat's courtship dances involve flying about at high speed, beating their distinctively patterned wings fast enough to create shockwaves in the air. Most Pokémon find this display intimidating, but to other Masquebat it is alluring.
Despite its size, Meowcuno's talons move across the ground more softly than snowfall. It is said that each Meowcuno has a vast hoard of golden treasure hidden on a cold mountainside, acquired by picking up anything it sees glinting from the air.
Meowgon-Z will collect any round and shiny object, but is most fond of data discs. On one notable occasion, a Meowgon-Z broke into a Department Store at night and stole TMs worth a small fortune.
Whismode can unleash deafening noise, louder than a sonic boom. They are incredibly sensitive to sound, and the slightest noise can set them off.
Whenever Loudorb opens, a deafening noise blasts from within. It will eventually close as it begins to run low on power and will roll itself towards a plug socket to recharge.
The round speakers on top of its head are capable of blasting out sound at high volume. The other two units of its body store the electrical power it needs to generate this noise.
Exple uses its electronic megaphone to amplify the volume of its cheers. It can be heard from the opposite side of a busy sports stadium, and is deafening close up.
Makukey is slow to anger and is not easily enraged. If it is defeated by another Pokémon, it will hold a grudge until it gets even, and it will keep pursuing the same foe even if it is repeatedly defeated.
Although its own body is small and slight, Harile loves to cheer on larger Pokémon. If it is attacked, it will fight back with a rapid series of electrically charged slaps.
Harin's body consists mostly of muscle and stomach. After incapacitating prey with a series of arm thrusts, Harin will lift it up and drop it down into its own open mouth.
People frequently fall asleep while stroking Skitras's soft fur because touching its ears and tail releases fungal spores. In addition to causing drowsiness when inhaled, these spores grow into a mold that digests fabrics.
The fur covering Skitnat is incredibly soft and fluffy, and if it is not cuddling its own tail, it will latch onto humans or other Pokémon. If Skitnat is attacked, it will ooze poison from its body so that the same fur becomes toxic to touch.

Delklang's sharp needle can be fired off like a harpoon, with the rapid turning of Delklang's spool reeling in thread to pull prey close to Delklang. The spool contains so much yarn that foes that get too close may be crushed beneath it.
Although they have a steel core, both of Delink's gears are covered with soft fluffy fur. When they interlock, rather then the turning of cogs it looks and sounds more like Delink is simple stroking its own fur.
Delang converts its own fur into thread, which it tightly coils around its bobbin for safekeeping. It can use this thread to entangle its enemies, then turn rapidly to pull it tight and constrict them in its fibers.
Through intense meditation, Medidos can control its rage without losing any of its strength. It practices an acrobatic fighting style, involving elegant tail movements that carry the force of an ocean wave.
Mediecho float in the air, chiming regularly. People find that this sound helps them to both relax and focus, and several monasteries use them to assist novices in meditation.
Mediecho use their spiritual power to heal others, seeking out people and Pokémon who are sick. If they sense any hostility, these healers defend themselves using martial arts.
Electkarp constantly discharges electricity from its whiskers, although the charge isn't very powerful. To avoid the attention of predators in the water, it spends most of its time on shore, flopping around at high speed.
Electrith lies on the sea floor, charging its muscles with electricity while waiting for prey to approach. It strikes with its claws as soon as prey gets within reach, briefly moving with lightning-fast speed.
Hairs on its cap are sensitive to the slightest air movement. Although it appreciates being admired for its glossy golden fur, it will lash out with sharp claws at anyone that doesn't show it sufficient respect.
Manerith charges its body with electricity while lurking on the sea floor, ready to strike prey with its claws. If any predator attacks it, the ocean will be lit up by underwater lightning, produced by Manerith to defend itself.
Maneliper constantly discharges electricity from the tips of its wings. Wherever it flies, thunderstorms and heavy rain soon follow.
As Manebeat zig-zag through the night sky, their glowing tails look like lightning bolts moving in slow motion. Touching their tail will result in a powerful electric shock.
Minink's blue orb stores up the negative charge that is generated every time Minink bounces. If Minink cannot use this power to support another Pokémon, arcs of electricity will begin to discharge from the sphere.
Its glowing tail is powered by the electricity it feeds on. If it drains too much electricity, Volorb will explode in a blinding flash.
Illuple has a fragrance that attracts Volbeat, but completely ignores any that approach it. At night, Illuple will chew on leaves while surrounded by a swarm of confused Volbeat.
Gulptric will stun prey by discharging lightning into its surroundings, then try to swallow it whole. Its neck and stomach can stretch to hold a surprisingly large amount of food.
Swaltric spray a poisonous fluid onto prey that is also highly conductive, attracting the lightning Swaltric discharges. Since Swaltric sweats this toxin from its pores, it is dangerous to touch even while wearing gloves.
Swale loves eating, but its small body quickly becomes full. If it cannot fit in any more it cheers on others as they eat, and so it is particularly popular as a supporter at eating contests.
Camekhan will occasionally reach into one of the craters on its back to pull out magma, placing it inside its pouch to keep the baby warm. If anything threatens Camekhan's child, the volcanos on its back will immediately erupt.
Spoking lazes around near decaying trees, waiting for mushrooms to grow so that it can eat them. If any other Pokémon bothers it, it will slam the psychically-charged pearl on its head into them with great force.
Sposkit's psychic power enables it to bounce across the surface of water as if it were a solid surface. While this works well on calm water, if the surface is disturbed by strong wind or by another Pokémon, Sposkit may flip over and start sinking.
The heavy bodies of Psyon sink straight to the bottom of ponds, helping them to feed on underwater plants. If they go deep enough that the pressure causes a headache, psychic force will lift them up to the surface to float to the shore.
Grumking, by waving the large black pearl it holds, can compel others to obey its will. It usually uses this to make them gather food for it, enabling it to spend more time lazing around.
While it is widely believed that every Spinbi has a unique pattern of spots, some have the same pattern. If these Spinbi meet, both become confused and faint, which some think happens because they are the same Pokémon from different timelines.
Spintom possesses computers, but causes them to be stuck on a loading screen, displaying only a spinning icon. Some people get so frustrated by this that they physically attack Spintom's monitor.
Spincoon spin their cocoons from two different types of silk, and no two Spincoon have the exact same pattern. These patterns have the ability to confuse other Pokémon, protecting Spincoon from attack even as they hang motionless from trees.
It shakes its sword-like tail in the air to intimidate foes. The blade is so large in comparison to its body that Seans will try to grab prey with its venomous bite first, then slash at it with its tail once it has a firm grip.
Sele cheers on Seviper in their conflicts with Zangoose, and will support them by delivering electrical shocks from the blades on its head. If anyone else tries to intervene in the fight, Sele will drive them away with its venomous bite.

Solperl are usually found on tropical beaches, remaining open to the sun all day. At sunset, they clamp shut and will not open again until dawn, so they are occasionally used by people for secure overnight storage.
Barshrew is covered in slippery slime. If it coils its body tightly, it can slide across most surfaces and may glide away if struck rather than taking damage.
Corpling use their claws to hunt for prey in ponds, but spend a lot of time on the bank basking in the sun. They are incredibly territorial and will try to drive away anyone who approaches their pond with vicious nips from their pincers.
Crawile often stand at the edge of lakes or rivers, hiding their pincers beneath the surface of the water. This enables them to lure in people and Pokémon on the bank with friendly gestures, then suddenly pull out their immense claws to attack.
The glowing markings on its chest have the ability to transfix Pokémon that look at them. Once prey is immobilized, Golbok will seize it with its long tail and then swallow it whole with its beak.
Balsect usually crawls around slowly, but will spin around like a spinning top if placed upside down. Balsect occasionally flips itself over on purpose, scattering orange spores like a cloud of dust.
Balta's hard-baked clay body constantly spins at high speed, generating incredible heat through friction. If it collides with another Pokémon it may flip over, but will continue spinning on top of the spike on its back.
While sleeping, Baldash resembles a clay figurine balanced on a spinning top. While awake it spins so rapidly it is hard to recognize, with fire flashing from its tail to generate a spinning tornado of reddish flames.
Claywellow's clay body floats in the air without it even needing to move its wings. It will remain motionless in the sky, scanning the ground with its many eyes, then suddenly dive down as soon as it spots prey.
Although its body is made of heavy ceramic, when Claydash gallops, it spends most of its time floating just above the ground. The pink flames of its mane glow brighter the faster it runs.
Castmel stores water vapor inside the hump on its back. While this usually emerges as puffs of cloud, in other weather conditions it will take on different forms.
The humps on Castrupt's back are filled with water vapor and are so sensitive to air pressure that they can forecast the weather. They become warmer or colder to match future temperature changes and will rumble loudly before thunderstorms.
In sunny weather, water vapor emerging from Castmel's back is so energized by the sunlight that it glows. Although small, the orbs this creates consist of plasma hotter than magma.
During sunny weather, glowing orbs of plasma form above Castrupt's back. This form of Castrupt is particularly aggressive and will occasionally detonate both orbs in a fiery explosion.
If it is raining, the water vapor emerging from Castmel's back will immediately condense to form more rain. This seems to make Castmel calm but sluggish.
When rain is falling, Castrupt's water vapor condenses to form a lake on its back. Even in a light drizzle, the clouds above Castrupt's back will flash with lightning if it is provoked by another Pokémon.
In cold weather, the water vapor Castmel releases will instantly freeze and fall as snow on its back. Snow-covered Castmel are more energetic than its other forms, acting as if the cold has woken them up.
When snow or hail falls on its surroundings, Castrupt's own water vapor also freezes. This seems to fill it with calm determination, and Castrupt can be a valuable companion for leading mountaineers through blizzards.
Trotox flies around all day, absorbing sunlight with its wings and growing curved fruit on its head. These fruit are incredibly toxic, and although they regularly drop off they should never be eaten.
Trolektrik have a ravenous hunger for fruit, as they generate electrical energy using the sugar they eat. They do not wait for fruit to fall, but flap their leaves to lift themselves up into the branches.
The slightest movement of Chingtite's head will make it ring like a bell. When it sits down to meditate, it remains perfectly motionless and silent, seemingly as a challenge to enhance its own focus.
In battle, Chingcham moves through a series of elegant leaps, ringing like a bell with every motion. This sound often seems to originate from wherever Chingcham has just been, creating openings for it to strike confused foes.
The bell inside Chimeobat rings with every flap of its wings. It uses the echoes that return to it to sense its surroundings, but will quickly become lost in noisy environments.
Their plush fur keeps them warm in frigid waters and on top of ice floes. They are not the fastest swimmers, but they can clap their fins together to generate a powerful electric shock, then bite into stunned prey.
Mansea swims around underwater, aggressively attacking any Pokémon that gets in its way with its head and tail. The pummeling only stops because Mansea must regularly return to the surface to breathe.
Manmime tries to behave exactly like a human through imitation of its Trainer. If it slips up and acts like a Mankey too often, it may fly into a destructive rage.
Seaidos tap on the ice with their hard stone skull to locate where it is thinnest, then smash holes through it to reach water. They enjoy bouncing objects off their heads, and a pair of Seaidos may play catch together using a ball or a Spheal.
Walkhan floats on its back while swimming, keeping the Spheal in its pouch above water. A thick layer of fat keeps it warm and protected inside, but if it is safe, Walkhan will break through the ice to create a small area for its child to swim in.
Walsire lives at the bottom of ponds in frigid areas, regularly using its tusks to break any ice that forms on the surface. Wherever they go, Walsire leave a trail of cold mud behind them.
Walidos are incredibly territorial, and once they have claimed a spot on a frozen beach, they will charge headfirst at any intruders. They freeze the fur on their head to make their impacts hit harder.
Hunair lives in deep, dark waters and uses the glowing energy stored inside its tail to lure prey close. The same power controls the currents around it to prevent any prey from escaping.
When Gorenair swims close to the surface, sunlight will be split into a shimmering aura of rainbow colors, dazzling other Pokémon and giving Gorenair the perfect opportunity to strike.
Woobink's small wings cannot keep it in the air for long, and it relies on its springy tail to regularly push it off the ground. The regular pulses of psychic energy from the pink pearl on its head are necessary to keep its heart beating.
Woobpig stores its psychic power in the pink pearl on its forehead. To prevent it from being stolen while it sleeps, Woobpig will use its tail and wings to propel itself at a cave wall, then suctions on using its nose and belly-button.
Swoocie roosts in caves full of gemstones, hanging upside-down from the ceiling. It is said that anyone who listens to its song will soon find love, so many would-be romantics delve deep into caves searching for it.
