Yanor flies high in the sky during the day, but at night, it rests by hovering in one place. During this time, its eyes close, and it becomes difficult to spot in the darkness, resulting in many near-misses by planes.

Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. By churning its wings, it creates shock waves that inflict critical internal injuries to foes.
