Wurmyena has large spines that jut out from its body, which protect it from predators while it scampers in tall grass. It is an omnivore and has a voracious appetite, so it eats anything it can find.

Wurmyena are commonly given to aspiring Trainers as a first partner because of their docile nature and abundance near human habitations. They're not very strong, so they are an excellent choice for children.

It savagely threatens foes with bared fangs. It sticks to tree branches and eats leaves.
