Mudskit's fin is sensitive to even minute changes in the water, allowing them to ambush prey from below. Despite the thinness of their legs, they are surprisingly strong, able to dig through packed sediment to make their homes.

They gather on puddles after evening downpours, gliding across the surface of water as if sliding. On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving.
