It tunnels extremely slowly, so it instead often hides in the grass, feeding on and absorbing energy from vegetation. If an unsuspecting Pokémon or Trainer steps on it, it will attack, in spite of the fact Digseed is unlikely to be hurt by the act.
They stick their spikes into cave walls and absorb the minerals they find in the rock. Digseed are raised in most farms.
