Nidobell's leaves smell of Leppa Berries to attract bug Pokémon. It spits poison onto them before devouring the paralyzed prey, using its toxins to immobilize and prepare them for consumption.
The long vine extending from its head is waved about as if it were a living thing to attract prey. Its highly toxic barbs are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon.
