Snoile slides across ice on its belly to chase prey but is a more skilled hunter when an ally helps it reach water under ice. It is often found curled up in an ice fisher's shack, gnawing on its part of the catch or snoozing in its shed skin.

It moves along below the sand's surface, except for its nose and eyes. They tend to move about in groups of around five Snoile.
