Zuchic vents its internal heat through its three feather-like ears. Getting bitten by Zuchic is said to feel like your blood in on fire.

Zuchic hides within indents in cave walls to remain unseen. Due to its lack of eyes and wings, Zuchic uses small chirps and screeches to echolocate where it needs to go and to avoid holes and obstacles as it hops around.

If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach. While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision.
