Torchbat tends to stay near the entrance of its cave home and basks in the rising and setting sun. This Pokémon enjoys fruit from nearby trees and uses its fire to soften the skins of the berries.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach.
