Weepinty competes with members of its colony to see who has the largest, best smelling shedding. It will abandon its shedding to chase and subdue substantially-sized prey, like Pikachu, that can sustain it until it has shed a new layer.

It can smash concrete blocks with its kicking attacks. At night, a Weepinty hangs on to a tree branch with its hooked rear and sleeps.
