Torelia are often seen taking care of smaller Pokémon, protecting them and letting them eat the small, delectable berries that grow upon their bush-like limbs. The spikes on their heads release irritant toxins when the tips are touched.
A Torelia that drinks nutritionally rich springwater blooms with lovely flowers. Small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests.
