Solpede normally sits completely motionless, gathering and storing solar energy for evolution. However, if disturbed, it sets off rolling at speeds of up to 80 km/h, glowing brightly as it approaches its top speed.
It is usually motionless, but when attacked, it rotates at high speed and then crashes into its opponent. Solar energy is the source of this Pokémon's power.
