If Ratceus is present, Rattata will flock to it, bringing it offerings of pilfered food. It's said to bless those who bring it enough offerings with a massive power boost, making them the strongest of all Rattata.

Ratceus are extremely skittish, darting away at the first sign of danger. Their gates are often coated in scratches and gouges from other Ratceus filing down their teeth on them. It's thought this behavior is a form of social bonding.

It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms. A Ratceus is cautious in the extreme.
