Pupimo-o's body is covered with a hard shell made of rock. This will not be shed until it evolves, so experienced Pupimo-o are easily recognizable from the many scratches and chips on their armor.

Its rigid scales function as offense and defense. A Pupimo-o creates a gas inside its body that it ejects under compression to propel itself like a jet.
