Lacking mobility, Poochscoon flees from most anything by shooting string to high places and reeling itself away from danger. It does occasionally seek vengeance by dropping its heavy body down on aggressors from high places, however.
To avoid detection by its enemies, it hides motionlessly beneath large leaves and in the gaps of branches. It savagely threatens foes with bared fangs.
