Paossom produces leaves and mushrooms that were once made into tea caudles for celebrations. With the advent of modern production of these ingredients, this practice has fallen out of popularity, with only a few villages still producing caudles.

Its flower petals deepen in color through exposure to sunlight. A Paossom has parasitic tochukaso mushrooms growing on its back.
