When bouncing on land, Octimer uses the large suction cups on its tentacles to drag people and Pokémon along. It will then bounce into the water to drag them below the surface, using the water to assist in its movement.
While this Pokémon usually lives in the sea, it can survive on land, although not too long. It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow.
