The ball on the tip of Mimedrill's stinger is to prevent it from accidentally poisoning itself. In combat, this ball gets shot off at speeds of up to 50 MPH which Mimedrill then follows up with a corrosive poison sting.
A Mimedrill is extremely territorial. It habitually mimics foes.
