Nothing upsets a Mankarp more than calling it useless. If such an occasion occurs, the agitated Mankarp will leap out of the water to repeatedly slap the aggressor with its tailfin. Unfortunately for the Mankarp, this does little to no damage.
Its swimming muscles are weak, so it is easily washed away by currents. When it starts shaking and its nasal breathing turns rough, it's a sure sign of anger.
