Despite creating lots of smoke, Magduck need a constant flow of fresh air to breathe properly. If they breathe in their own fumes for too long, they may develop a headache or even pass out.

Steam rises from Magduck's head when it is suffering from a particularly strong migraine. When the pain finally subsides, it exhales a thick cloud of dark smoke in relief.

When its headache intensifies, it starts using strange powers. If a Magduck is spouting yellow flames from its mouth, it is in good health.
