Klefsect collects keys, but rarely holds onto any for long. When it swaps them out for new ones it leaves behind spores on the keys, spreading the fungus it carries to as many keyholes as it can.
Klefsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. It never lets go of a key that it likes, so people give it the keys to vaults and safes as a way to prevent crime.
