Kakdoof are almost immobile and can only move a few centimetres a day by carefully shuffling. To stay safe while they wait to evolve they make small burrows in tree trunks, gnawing at the wood for sustenance.
With nerves of steel, nothing can perturb it. It remains virtually immobile while it clings to a tree.
