Joltump stalk Trainers that wander into their territory with mild curiosity. When they are inevitably caught, they escape on a bolt of lightning and hide until the Trainer loses interest to start the process over again.

These Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died in the forest. Its cells generate weak power that is amplified by its fur's static electricity to drop thunderbolts.
