Ivybat fly out at night to pollinate flowers by rubbing the flower on their back against wildflowers. Their weak, underdeveloped eyes face away from the sun when dawn arrives to absorb sunlight with the bulb on their backs.
While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. To support its bulb, Ivybat's legs grow sturdy.
