Garderunt are shy yet amiable creatures that enjoy their Trainer's company. When meeting strangers, they freeze themselves in a block of ice to avoid social interaction, but can easily escape with a quick teleport.

They tend to move about in groups of around five Garderunt. It apparently does not feel the pull of gravity because it supports itself with psychic power.
