Ferropert can be found at the bottom of swampy waters, staying completely stagnant as they absorb nutrients from damp dirt. Interestingly, Ferropert rarely leave their homes even during colder seasons.

If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders. They stick their spikes into cave walls and absorb the minerals they find in the rock.
