As Dusckarp grows older, the bandage-like fins and whiskers grow longer and become more dull in color. They are much more sensitive than other parts of its body.
Its swimming muscles are weak, so it is easily washed away by currents. It is thought that its body is hollow with only a spectral ball of fire burning inside.
