The overabundance of fire on Charoh's body has caused a being of flames to appear between its wings. This fiery bird is said to be the manifestation of the spirits of pure-hearted Trainers.

Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy. A Charoh flies about in search of strong opponents.
