Carceus's skittish nature leads it to fire beams from the crystals around its chest at anything it sees as a threat. This sometimes includes other Carceus, leading to barrages of beams fired from both parties.

It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
