Butterkarp flops around helplessly. Scientists believe Butterkarp is attempting to fly with its inherited instincts from Butterfree, but sadly lacks wings. Instead, clouds of dizzying spores spurt out from its scales every time it lands or takes off.

Its swimming muscles are weak, so it is easily washed away by currents. It has a superior ability to search for delicious honey from flowers.
