Bulbasaur have leafy sprouts on their back. On sunny days, these leaves curl open to absorb sunlight, curling back into a bulb at dusk to conserve energy.
To support its bulb, Bulbasaur's legs grow sturdy. Bulbasaur can be seen napping in bright sunlight.
