The needles on the end of its limbs cannot retract into its shell. Beeckle often shoots the needles out like a harpoon, injecting prey that are hit with fermented berry juice.
A Beeckle hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries. A Beeckle is extremely territorial.
