Sometimes Sandseed will roll up palm trees using its spikes and camouflages itself as a coconut. When a nearby Pokémon headbutts the tree, it comes crashing down as part of an ambush.
They stick their spikes into cave walls and absorb the minerals they find in the rock. It curls up in a ball to protect itself from enemy attacks.
