Quagkip wade in shallow muddy water to absorb nutrients and minerals. When they are full, they flop down into a mud puddle and fall asleep facing the sky so they can see clouds roll by.

On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving. A Quagkip hunts by leaving its mouth wide open in water and waiting for its prey to blunder in.
