Paracash spends most of its time at the edges of lakes and ponds, slithering through the mud and eating anything it finds. If Paracash cannot digest it, the mushroom on its head will break it down instead.

Mysteriously, it can foretell earthquakes. Paracash are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
