The tusk-like mushrooms sprouting from Paraxew's mouth are very hard and leave behind puffs of spores when it strikes a foe. This serves both as an attack and a way to weaken the enemy with a debilitating effect.
They mark their territory by leaving gashes in trees with their tusks. Paraxew are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
