Mudpede enjoys living in muddy, swampy areas, easily able to traipse through the gunk with no problem. It ferries smaller Pokémon across the mud when they want to avoid getting dirty or stuck.

Highly aggressive, it uses the claws near its neck to dig into its opponents and poison them. On land, it can powerfully lift large boulders by planting its four feet and heaving.
