Magieon have adapted to be graceful swimmers despite not being very fast. It is said when on land they awkwardly flop about, despite having four working paws. Despite their reputation, researchers speculate their whiskers detect incoming rainstorms.

Magieon underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater. Its swimming muscles are weak, so it is easily washed away by currents.
