Marina carefully watches over young Nidoran in the wild, keeping them from getting too rowdy and protecting them from harm. Its muscle strength is enough that it could toss a Pokémon several times its size over its shoulder.
When it is with its friends or family, its barbs are tucked away to prevent injury. It continually undertakes strenuous training to master all forms of martial arts.
