When Ho-seed reaches the end of its lifespan, it explodes into ashes that contain nutrient-rich spikes essential for plant growth. Forests grown from its ashes are exceptionally lush and healthy.

They stick their spikes into cave walls and absorb the minerals they find in the rock. Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy.
