Geoyama are capable of sending large boulders flying with a single slap from their stony hands. When they do so, any Pokémon on or within the boulder are also sent flying, so Geoyama use this technique sparingly.

Geoyama often climb mountains to stand at the peaks. They compete with rival Geoyama to shove each other over off the top for dominance.

It has the habit of challenging others without hesitation to tests of strength. It climbs mountain paths using only the power of its arms.
