Wild Flalup live on tropical beaches and only swim in warm waters. On sunny days they will occasionally get too hot and will cool down by expelling fire from the fur on their head and tail.

Because it is very proud, it hates accepting food from people. Flalup's fluffy fur releases heat into the air so that its body does not get excessively hot.
