Drowlicky feeds on dreams, but has very discerning tastes. After putting someone to sleep, it extends a large tongue to lick them, sampling their dream's flavor; if the taste isn't palatable, Drowlicky leaves them to their slumber.
It wraps things with its extensible tongue. If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping, it's a sure sign that a Drowlicky is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrils.
