Cusect makes its home inside the skulls of other dead Pokémon. The remnants of rotting meat serve as a great fertilizer for Cusect's mushrooms to grow, while the skull itself provides protection from larger predators.
Cusect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. It pines for the mother it will never see again.
