The venom in Shellder's bite has cured Psyduck of its chronic headaches. Slowduck can now focus and fully utilize its psychic powers to their full potential.
On occasion, Shellder's toxins aren't effective enough to create a full evolution to Slowking, resulting in Slowpoke. Though still quite a bit more intelligent than Slowpoke, Slowpoke mostly uses its intellect for more efficient ways to be lazy.
In some bizarre circumstances, Shellder merges with every part of Slowpoke except its tail. Highly intelligent and possessing powerful defenses, Slowbro no longer seems to show signs of emotion.
The many smaller buds snap and grab small insects to feed to Ivydily's true head in the center. Due to meals taking a long time to reach its stomach, it often overeats and winds up sluggish after feeding.
Ivyvenant is protective of its forest home to an almost overzealous degree. The instant it senses an intruder, it sends out multiple vines to grab and toss them away.
It gnaws on bones to maintain its teeth, as well as to shape the bones into weapons and armor it can use in battle. When it crafts a new weapon, it passes the old one onto its young.
After cocooning prey in its silk, Ratrak will consume the webbing along with its meal. The recovered extra nutrients from the web help maintain its large teeth, keeping them strong and clean.
The back half has taken on the appearance and disposition of the front half's Alolan variant. It is far greedier than the main head, fighting it for every meal despite not being able to digest.
Ratans's teeth not only have a strong bite force but a mild venom to them as well, making it ill-advised to agitate. Its not aggressive by nature though, preferring to bite and run rather than stay and fight.
Ratcott lets the fur on its back grow out to copious levels so it can act as a place of storage. It stows away stolen morsels in the fur, so it always has a snack it can shake loose later.
It uses its tail to collect all manners of junk and even smaller creatures, but one should never try to take something from it by force; Ratki will not hesitate to leave a nasty bite with its massive incisors.
Ratria will occasionally eat some of the fluff on its wings, which grows back over the course of the day. Though the fluff seems flavorless, it carries a faint aroma of fresh cheese.
Ratkey is very volatile and dangerous, as being startled or angered will cause it to leap onto the nearest thing and gnash wildly at it. Once it has a grip, it will not stop biting unless knocked out.
Ratbra carries a fork around to always have cheese on-hand to nibble, as consuming cheese keeps its mind sharp. A Ratbra denied this snack for too long begins to exhibit psychic instability.
When eating, Ratsprout gnashes its teeth together to take many small bites of whatever it sucked into its maw. This causes it to make rapid-fire clacking noises as it eats.
The head possessing a stronger set of teeth is considered the dominant of the two. When that head sleeps, the other finds something to gnaw on, strengthening its teeth so it may fight for dominance in the future.
Ratly haunts old abandoned homes, gnashing its teeth furiously to create eerie sounds. Throwing an offering of food into its hungry maw tends to calm it and cease the haunting for a while.
Misllery clings to dark corners of haunted locales, hiding away from sight. When others draw near, it spits out a dark ink that splatters across the victim and leaves them with chills and a feeling of ghastly dread for quite some time after.
Misitar can exhale a thick mist that snuffs out the light of the surrounding area, plunging it into darkness. It uses this shadowy cover to hunt and terrorize those who wander into its territory.
It's said Mistomb is formed from a conglomeration of the most malicious spirits of the afterlife. With its vast ghostly powers, it spends most of its time unceasingly haunting and pranking as many people as possible.
Miswick uses its ghostly flames to siphon the light from already dim areas, spooking those traveling through. It feeds on the increase in fear caused by the darkening surroundings.
Miskoth possesses a mischievous personality, but lacks the energy to pull off pranks. Even just conjuring a slight ghostly breeze requires a seven-hour nap afterward.
Mismask draws naive and curious travelers close with displays of false innocence in order to get them to gaze into its orb. A vision of terror appears within, spooking the victim so Mismask can feed on their fear.
The magnets on either side of Mismite contain powerful ghostly energies. If the three orbs circle around one of them, it is preparing to cast a particularly powerful hex from that magnet.
Unown allows itself to be wielded as a weapon by a Cubone, its body making a surprisingly efficient club. At night, the Unown has Cubone draw mysterious symbols in the dirt, the meaning of which is not yet known.
The clouds Unfing emits have their own eyes that look around and blink on their own. It's believed that until they dissipate completely, Unfing can see through these additional eyes as well.
The pupil can shift around to any part of the giant unblinking eye that is its head. Even should the child wander off beyond normal sight, Unkhan will always see where its child is.
It possesses shapeshifting abilities just like Ditto, but is unable to change a certain part of itself. Thus, no matter the form it takes, the result will inevitably retain a giant cycloptic eye somewhere.
There are rumors that the shed skin left behind by Untini still contains a fraction of its mind within. Despite being hollow, some swear to have seen an eye staring back at them from within.
Unfa gather together in places where the most stars are visible in the night sky. Their positioning suggests an attempt to relay a message of some kind, but what and to whom is still unknown.
Uncross will fly from forests to nearby ruins, wander about while hovering their horn above objects of interest before flying back home in silence. What they are apparently scanning for is still unknown.
Unrow soars quietly across forests located near old ruins, almost never landing. If attacked, it separates the myriad parts of its body before reassembling itself to counterattack.
Some of its bladed feathers are detachable and possess working eyes, floating around and letting Unmory view across wide distances. Its rarely seen with all its feathers attached, as it's always curiously observing its surroundings.
Ungon2 was first spotted in the vicinity of a research center near the Ruins of Alph. Computers in its vicinity begin to display text characters, but the messages do not belong to any known language.
It has a strange decrepit appearance, as if it were partially burnt away. As it floats through the forest night, it sings a haunting song; those that hear it are said to see grim visions of their future.
As it dances, it strikes poses that seem to correspond to letters of the alphabet. Whatever sort of message it is trying to convey has yet to be deciphered.
It uses advanced psychic powers to keep aware of its surroundings while watching over its Trainer. It can rotate its head 360 degrees; it will always keep its eye on its Trainer.
Some say all Unvoir are avatars of the same being projected into our reality from somewhere beyond. The shifting mound of limbs behind the body grasps and gazes gently at those near, seemingly searching for something important.
Its large singular eye remains eternally closed, though Unking still functions normally in spite of this. Some fringe theorists believe that should Unking open its eye, it is a harbinger of great doom.
Each segment of its body appears to be shaped like a letter from the alphabet. The body appears to spell something as it flies, but strangely, those who witness it each report a completely different set of letters.
Each of the eyes spread across its body are thought to stare across space into different dimensions. Should one meet an eye's gaze, they too may catch a glimpse of these unknown worlds.
Its singular eye will never blink, even when attacked directly. It stares with deranged intensity, gazing beyond the veil into something past visible reality.
It enjoys singing in the evening, though the warped notes it lets out tend to disorient those who listen to it. Some have reported that the note-shaped part of its body changes depending on the song.
Unink have been recorded invading research labs and replacing the gears in machinery, typically those that print or visualize information. Machines with Unink in them constantly produce indecipherable combinations of numbers and letters.
Unpede hovers just above the ground, its central eye forever unblinking. Those who stare too long will swear they've seen the shape of something rotating inside the cocoon, but find themselves incapable of describing it adequately.
The two eyes look to each other as if they are separate beings, though science shows no sign of anything like a second brain. In deep snow, it uses the upper eye to see above the snowbank covering its body.
It takes the form of a discarded book in the hopes curious onlookers might take it home. The contents of the book are pure nonsense, but those who read it are entranced nonetheless.
Each of the eyes on its body can launch powerful Ice Beams to freeze opponents. Those who have met Unice's gaze report feeling a chill run up their spine, unrelated to its ice powers.
Unsteel is a strange metallic Pokémon that typically remains silent and sedentary. The circles on its face are actually eyes that can detach and float around to better observe its surroundings.
Resting on the ocean floor near underwater ruins, Unperl is almost always seen closed. If forced open, its single eye blasts the one forcing the shell apart with psychic energy that puts the aggressor in a dazed, amnesiac state.
It produces the image of floating symbols within the minds of others to communicate. It values peace and solitude so that it can focus and hone its psychic powers.
Unzee's abilities allow it to ensnare small groups of Unown as its thralls, which follow it around and cause those who view them to fall asleep with a single glance. Its eyes glow a piercing red as it feasts on the victim's dreams.
Rare eyeless variants of Unzee exist that behave even more aggressively, sending out their thralls of Unown to send as many victims as possible to sleep so it may gorge endlessly on their sweet dreams, leaving only nightmares behind.
The dark egg in the clutch is protected at all times by the rest of the group. Should anything make an aggressive move towards it, the entire group will pile onto the aggressor in a vigorous counterattack.
Lighter and less sturdy than it would appear, Wobkhan's form bounces around from even light impacts. Though it looks disorienting, the child seems to enjoy being jostled around in the pouch during these moments.
Wobsey is compassionate and always willing to lend a friendly pat or hug to those feeling down. It will, however, immediately and roughly smack anyone that attempts to touch the black egg it carries with it.
Wobtei is typically non-confrontational and won't even respond to the first few blows struck against it. If it bashes its tail against the ground, however, one has succeeded in angering it and should be ready to flee from its burning vengeance.
Wobish absolutely detests having the leaves on its head touched. Anything that reaches to touch them will be batted away with its long arms, or hit with a cloud of stinky pollen before it runs off.
Giramar uses its flame breath to ignite branches and plants just before it devours them in order to enhance the taste. The head on its tail can breath fire in self-defense, even when Giramar is sleeping.
Its rear head possesses its own tiny brain as well as its own flame sac for producing fire breath. Anybody that tries to sneak up from behind is in for a nasty burn.
Girabat's cry emits psychic waves that affect the target's perception, causing them to see double. Girabat uses the confusion this creates to more easily swoop in and catch its prey.
The front head has powerful eyesight, and the rear has mild precognitive capabilities. Between the two, Giratu is nearly impossible to sneak up on, flying away at the faintest hint of danger.
Girawoodo has a mischievous streak, staying motionless until something passes by and then biting them with the mouths on either hand. It then quickly goes back to being still, pretending it did nothing to the irate bite victim.
Girasparce always keeps its body coiled up in a spiral to some extent. It's front head is fairly docile, but the tail's head is skittish and will attempt to jab its horn into those who get too close.
What appears to be a tail with a mouth is actually the organ with which Giratank produces milk. Most farmers who have Giratank confess the sight of its milk production can be a little unsettling.
Giramagius itself is rather docile, but the head on its tail is rather vindictive. Even if Giramagius would rather flee than fight, the head will hurl dark magic from its mouth and instigate battles on its own.
The rear head will occasionally sense a separate disaster from the main head, influencing Girasol and leaving it torn on which to assist with, often freezing up and helping neither.
Girawear is a cuddly and gentle giant despite its strength and size, but its tail is a bit rambunctious. It must be careful not to hold those it hugs too long, or the tail may try to bite them while in its embrace.
Girakey is a surprisingly well-mannered Pokémon, as all the usual aggression appears to have been funneled into the tail. As a result, the tail gnashes and swings at anything approaching it, even when Girakey sleeps.
The two halves of Girata produce flames independent of each other. The front half uses its fire offensively, while the back half applies it for defensive maneuvers.
Girafetchd carries its own tail, which contains a secondary head with its own tiny brain, close at all times. The tail can consume plants and fungi the main head cannot, giving it an alternative way to gain sustenance.
Its second head will regularly nibble and gnaw on anything that gets too close. Due to its smaller brain, it will occasionally bite the other head, forgetting they share a body.
Girano's hypnotic powers are all its own, not requiring the help of the small head it carries. It lets the head think it's crucial to the hypnosis effect so that it can feel helpful.
The child is more aggressive and combative than the parent. Pinekhan is often forced to restrain the young, to keep it from leaping out of the pouch and exploding at something.
Due to the unique texture, Pinefree makes a soft crackling noise with every flap of its wings. Sentret are known to enjoy gnawing on these crunchy scales when they shed and fall to the forest floors.
Pineuna's cocoon is made of several rigid plates layered over each other. It constantly grows new plates to replace the old, so that its defenses remain strong until it completes its evolution.
Pinepi removes and offers tiny plates from its own body as gifts to those it is fond of. They grow back quickly, and the self-removal is painless, so there's no harm in accepting the present.
It has a possessive streak when it seeks a tree to perch on. If Kakuna and similar Pokémon hang threads on its tree, it will use the beating of its wings to blow them all to the forest floor so it alone can remain.
Pinetler rubs its body against tree bark in order to help scrape and snap off plates of its body that have grown excessively. The fallen pieces biodegrade quickly and provide more nutrients for soil and plant life.
Pinesect burrows most of its body down into soft soil to sleep or feast on roots. If a predator should agitate the part that remains above ground, its plate-like mushrooms on its back will eject and burst into blinding, irritating spores.
Pineple is often found milling around groups of Pineco in the wild. It crawls over them and eats small insects that will cling to the Pineco and bother them, grooming them while gaining sustenance for itself.
Forredrill nests should be given a wide berth for safety's sake. Extremely territorial, it fires sharp spines from its front limbs, launching at high speeds from long distances.
Forreon's meals consist of stone, dirt and other minerals in its home. As it digests, parts of the materials get compacted and stored in the pores on its sides, to be fired out at high speeds in self-defense.
Forreduck spends much of its time staring blankly into space, ignoring most outside stimuli. Should something manage to startle it out of its stupor, it instinctively creates and fires spikes made of psychic energy as a defense mechanism.
When put on the defensive, Dunsea buries its tail into the ground to stabilize itself. Doing this allows it to become much more accurate in its ink shots.
Pressing the red circle on Dunmime's torso makes it emit a variety of funny noises, making it popular with young children. Pressing the red circle on its face hurts it, however.
Rival Dunrow duel each other via swordfights with the drill tails they possess. Once a hierarchy is reached via victory, the loser forfeits some of its stored food to the victor.
Dunler's pointed tail is quite powerful and sturdy. If it were rolling down a mountainside at top speed, drilling into the wall with its tail would cause it to stop in its tracks instantly.
Dunpoke's drill-tail is an effective tool for burrowing through dirt, but it often forgets why it burrows and stops halfway within the ground. It will often need help being pulled out of holes it dug for itself.
Gliret squirms its way into narrow spaces, waiting until it can leap onto another's face and grab onto them. This isn't an attack behavior; Gliret is simply overly affectionate.
Glieary's large ears give it a keen sense of hearing that aids in hunts. It swoops quickly and silently to strike prey, but flees in terror if the first blow does not finish the job.
Steepie digs tunnels in soil that Caterpie inhabit for safety while Steepie sleeps out in the open. Due to its steel carapace, those that would prey on Caterpie find their jaws useless in trying to take a bite out of Steepie.
Its body is composed of highly durable steel. This resilient form allows it to burst with an explosion of electrical energy, while leaving its body intact and undamaged.
The huge skull of Steelix is almost too heavy for Steebone, hampering its movement in exchange for strong armor. It can hide its entire body within the steel skull to weather prolonged attacks.
Steewak carved itself armor and weaponry out of discarded bits of Steelix. Using these, it considers itself a guardian of the defenseless, striking back at those who would pick on the smaller and weaker.
Steesey's eggs are actually coated in a tough metallic shell to deter predators and make effective weapons in battle. If it wishes to share one for consumption, it breaks the outer layer itself, revealing the nutritious contents within.
Mainly inhabiting watery tunnels and underwater caverns, before their discovery, the wailing and metallic cry of wild Steeras was the fuel for many a seafaring ghost story and a warning for sailing ships.
The steel casing of its body holds tightly around the molten magma Steecargo constantly produces within. Between its nigh-impenetrable shell and its ability to belch streams of lava at will, few are considered a danger to Steecargo.
Steephan consumes large quantities of soil, storing away stones and gems swallowed while digesting the dirt. When it lets out a bellowing trumpet, the stored shards of rock and crystal shoot out and cut away at intruders.
In the past, poachers attempted to hunt Steefeon for the beautiful crystals on its body. This quickly proved fruitless, as once removed from Steefeon, the crystals turn brittle and crumble to dust.
Stone gears churn to power the crystalline core within Steeklang. Once fully charged, the gems fire off powerful beams of radiant light.
The crystals on Steerem's body are considered priceless in value. Gaining them is nigh impossible, however, as its chilling breath will freeze solid any who try to approach it.
Blacksmiths of old used Steelgon to test the durability of their forged weapons. If one could strike the hardy shell of a Steelgon and not crack or break, then it was considered a work of true quality.
Steebat's heavy body makes it nearly impossible for it to fly for more than a few moments. It uses its metallic wings and heavy tail as bludgeoning tools in combat.
Steesteel's heavy metal body is durable to the point of being nigh impervious, but its weight causes it to be nearly immobile. It fires powerful bursts of energy from its feet and hands to maneuver itself in short-distance increments.
The spores Steesect produces cause rock-like fungi to grow on most surfaces. Though harmless to humans, these strange mushrooms can be very harmful to Rock-type Pokémon, causing painful paralysis with a single touch.
Steelem shed their outermost layer of metal yearly, growing a stronger one shortly afterward. It's said that those reaching one hundred years develop impenetrable skin.
Despite its heavy body, Steedash can gallop at high speeds, trailing dark flames behind it all the while. It races to the highest peaks it can and stands watch over the mountain, cutting a striking visage.
Despite the lopsided appearance, legs that look unchanged from Dodrio carry the three massive Steelix heads with only a marginal decrease in top speed. Scientists are still baffled by this.
Snubtung is very proud of its big blue tongue, presenting it to any who would bear witness. It is prone to pouting if people do not compliment its size and hue.
Snubird travel around the world, giving out gifts to well-behaved pet Pokémon. Badly-behaved pets instead get a scolding wallop from the heavy sack of treats it carries.
Snubtik spikes out its fur and sheds sparks when threatened, growling strongly at potential danger. Unfortunately its strength is rather meager, so if the threatening display fails, there's little else it can do.
Normally Snubish has a placid personality, but when it chooses a spot to call its own to settle down and gather sunlight, it becomes more aggressive. It growls at and smacks anything that comes near with its large leaves.
It makes a frightening face and growls to scare smaller Pokémon away and steal their things. Should it face opposition, however, it immediately turns timid and runs away in fear.
Socialites have begun seeing Snublithe as a fine trophy pet to pamper and preen. Competitions to see who has the most well-groomed and dressed-up Snublithe have become common in affluent locales.
Spearos tends to bully flocks of Spearow, yet at the same time defends them from larger Pokémon picking fights. It seems to believe that only it is allowed to pick on the little birds.
Having not evolved the long beak of its Fearow kin, Spearow often has to resort to bullying flocks of Spearow away from food in order to gain sustenance of its own.
Spearpass uses magnetism to achieve something vaguely resembling flight. This takes a lot of energy to maintain, so travelers should be wary to watch for exhausted Spearpass falling out of the trees.
Grankrow's fearsome face makes small birds flock to be its underlings to avoid incurring its potential wrath. Few figure out that it is incredibly softhearted and will buckle beneath the slightest bit of opposition.
Parts of Granswine's lower jaw jut out from its face like tusks. During warmer seasons, these oversized teeth generate cold air to keep it cool and prevent overheating.
Granlord's fearsome appearance and huge size cause many to treat it as a vicious monster, but it is in actuality incredibly gentle and even timid. Even when attacked it rarely retaliates, instead choosing to flee.
Grantrum is a notorious antisocial rebel, stirring up trouble for no other reason than because it can. Even its own Trainer is not exempt from its unruly and disobedient behavior.
One should take extreme caution when approaching Qwilkhan. The parent can control itself and not poison those it trusts, but the child lacks control of its toxins; any touch of its spines will be painfully poisonous.
An alternate coloration of Qwilkhan often found in more tropical regions. Its different colors are likely due to a higher intake of fruit in its diet, and this variant is known to have less dangerously potent toxins in its spines.
The poison in its spines can also be mixed internally with the ink it spews, letting it infect creatures near or far with its toxin. It's known to have a strong dislike of Malamar, turning aggressive immediately if it spies one.
Qwilrill is able to rest on its spiky tail-orb without any sort of discomfort, even bouncing on it to alleviate boredom. Anything else that tries to touch the orb will be pricked and given a painful dose of venom.
The heavy pom-poms on Qwilcorio's arms are filled with both toxins and electricity. It combines its dances in combat with powerful bludgeoning strikes that leave foes poisoned or paralyzed.
Qwildisc has become infamous among couples, as it has a tendency to leap and attempt to sting those it sees behaving romantically. It's thought that this behavior is born out of little more than petty jealousy.
Qwilsian has a personality as prickly as its body. Finicky to the extreme, owners must work hard to earn enough of its trust and affection for it to retract its poisonous spines and allow itself to be pet.
Qwilno's hypnosis abilities are only effective on about 30 percent of people. When its pendulum fails, it simply hits the victim with it, injecting them with a toxin that quickly knocks them out.
Scichan's heavy metallic form restricts its movement, forcing it to take a tactical approach to combat. It endures attacks while waiting for the perfect opportunity to retaliate with a punch so strong it knocks out a foe with a single strike.
Due to its offensive and defensive strength, Scidon is a bit of a braggart. It taunts foes by rapping its claws against its head or using them to crush thick stones to rubble before their eyes.
The pincer on Sciras's back is spacious and soft inside and ill-equipped for any sort of offense. Instead, it can safely store a number of passengers within to keep them warm and safe during its sea travels.
Scitoed's claws contain tongue-like appendages it can fire out to grab and store insects for later consumption. The length and speed of the tongues also make them effective as whips in combat.
Scigia's claws hold the power to emit gale-force winds or torrential geysers of water. It uses these abilities to force back intruders to the solitary islands it claims as its home.
Scipom's two tails end in pincers with incredible gripping power. Some have put it to work in junkyards and other jobs where it can assist by tearing apart large materials.
With its steel muscles, scythes and pincers, Scichamp is a destructive powerhouse like no other. Contractors have used it regularly to help in deforestation prior to construction efforts.
The pincer at the end of Scifetchd's stick makes it perfect for grabbing berries too high for it to reach normally. Its weight and metal coating also make it an efficient club to use for self-defense.
Sciler's giant metal pincer and steel body make it a formidable foe. Few attacks can even scratch its heavy carapace, and its giant claw has enough crushing power in its grip to shatter the sturdiest of steels with ease.
Shubone resembles a Shuckle using an old forgotten skull as a replacement shell. As it generates berry juice, excess liquid pours from the hollow eye sockets, making it look as if the skull is crying.
Shusey grows a variety of berries naturally in its pouch, which it uses to create mixed juices inside its body. These concoctions are effective at combating various illnesses, and Shusey shares them freely.
It contorts its limbs into the shapes of wings that miraculously allow it to fly for short periods. It enjoys coating berries in flower pollen before consuming them.
When initially observed, Shutini was thought to be the first sighting of a shell-less Shuckle. Though debunked, it has invited fringe theories about a possible shared lineage.
Usually passive in nature, Shunite keeps most of its body retracted in its shell and looks as unimposing as possible. If pushed to confrontation, however, it reveals its full size and strength, making quick work of its foe.
Shudile spends much of its time tucked into its shell, floating down rivers and streams. It uses a long tongue to slurp up insects drawn to the sweet berry-like scent its shell gives out.
Shuret squishes berries between its paws and offers the juicy slurry to others as a sign of affection. This makes owning one as a pet a sticky, messy affair for most Trainers.
Shuown consumes berries that become berry juice within its body. It sticks to walls or trees to mark them with its berry juice, though it's not known if this is a territorial action or something else entirely.
When Shuceus appears in a forest, it consumes all the berries from the trees around it before vanishing. The berry juice created from this mixture within its body is extremely rare, and said to be a miracle elixir capable of curing any disease.
Berries Shupede consumes mix with its internal toxins to make a poisonous juice. It launches globs of the toxic concoction from the holes in its carapace as a way of self-defense.
When its jaws are closed, Shutrum's tentacles wriggle out of the pores of its shell. When its jaws open, they all undulate out from its mouth to grab and reel in any berries it can take in to consume.
As it eats berries, it creates a mixture of berry juices within its shell-like cranium. If a painful migraine flares up, this juice may erupt from the hole on top like a geyser.
When Shura senses danger, it tucks its limbs into its shell before teleporting away to safety. On rare occasions, berries it stored within do not travel with it, hovering in midair for a few seconds before dropping to the ground.
To accelerate the juice-making process, Shuler tucks inside itself and rolls down mountainsides to churn the berries inside it. Though effective, much of its juice spills out and stains the paths it rolls down.
The sixth egg in the clutch has a particular affinity for finding sweet nectar and sap for the rest to consume. It does this primarily to make sure that the rest don't ever wish to feed of its own sap.
Heralee's horn is nearly as powerful as its legs. Scooping large opponents and tossing them into the air, it finishes them off with a merciless roundhouse kick as they fall back towards the ground.
Herahorn seeks to consume the sweet sap from forest trees. It won't hesitate to knock over the trees with its charge, just to more easily suck the sap from their bark.
Heragela uses its horn to pry off layers of bark from trees or dig holes in dirt. Once it finds small insects beneath, its many vines reach out and grab the bugs so it can begin eating.
It tears deep holes in trees so that its young can crawl inside and feast on the sweet sap within. Any interlopers that venture too close during this time will be tossed aside by Herakhan's powerful horn.
Normally a Pokémon with a very mild temperament, Herafree becomes very greedy and aggressive where food is concerned. If anything tries to pry it from a tree while it feeds, it responds with extreme violence.
Herauna will embed its horn deep into trees before fully cocooning itself, so that sticky sweet sap trickles onto it. It absorbs the sap into the shell, which helps fuel the evolution process.
It uses the horn on its abdomen to cut and dig into trees in order to get to the sap within. Being greedy, it will aggressively flail its horn at anything approaching while it feasts, even other Heradrill.
It can retract and extend its limbs from any of the holes in its shell. Predators thinking they can sneak up on it will be surprised when its horn disappears and then flies out of a completely different section of its body.
Herapiny hollows out materials to collect sap it can carry around in its pouch. Though the sap is primarily for its own indulgence, Herapiny will almost always be willing to share if asked.
Heralia's twirling dance is as lovely to watch as it is effective in battle. With two horn-like appendages on each arm, it can leap and whirl around to take out opponents with grace and ease.
It lightly peels away bark from trees to gnaw on the wood and seek out sap to suck. Normally nonviolent, its horn is typically only used to swat or fling nuisances away.
Its large horn is good for tearing bark off of trees, but is predominantly used against rival Heraran. They butt heads and horns equally in disputes over food, territory and mates.
Heraveon uses its horn to peel bark from trees so it can smear the sap onto its ribbons. It then goes off to share the sap with other hungry insects. The ribbons' natural secretions seem to make the sap more flavorful and appealing to the bugs.
Herafable has a disinclination for prolonged combat, preferring to toss an opponent with its horn and then flee. Usually solitary creatures, during the full moon groups will gather together and mill beneath the moonlight.
Herafable owners like to decorate it for the winter holidays. Herafable itself delights in being dressed up and providing festive lighting for friends and family. Delibird also seem drawn to decorated Herafable.
Once it sinks its fangs into a tree, it refuses to let go until it's had its fill. If Herabat is not forcibly removed, it may drain a tree completely of its nutrients and leave it a wilting husk.
The many claws near its neck let it attach to trees to better eat the sweet sap from their bark. It is a curious sort, and seems unaware of its size and stature potentially being frightful to smaller creatures.
It bashes its horn against trees to dig and pry its way within to get to the sweet sap within. The taste of the sap helps soothe the pain of the headache it gets from using its horn.
When tucked into its shell, the horn sticks out from the front. Small feelers let it sense if predators are near, and it can strike the ground with its horn to propel itself away from danger if needed.
Herafetchd uses the leek it carries in combination with other flavorful grasses as a lure. It sets a trap for leaf-loving insects and waits until they get close, then attacks from above with its horn to knock them out.
The larger head is adept at sensing opportune places to feed as well as nearby predators, while the smaller head takes care of defending itself with its mighty horn.
Sneaqueen is a vain sort, obsessed with jewelry in particular. Trainers should expect to regularly gift and bribe it with bracelets and necklaces if they ever hope to have Sneaqueen obey.
Tedditu has a simple mind, but possesses great psychic potential. When the crescent moon on its head glows, it receives a short vision of the immediate future.
Teddiring is quite popular due to its large size but amiable disposition, often seeking to cuddle anything smaller than it. It's so softhearted it will tremble before any battle, even against weaker foes.
Tedditank's high consumption of honey means that the milk it produces is particularly sweet in flavor. It's often shy about sharing its milk, but is easily convinced when offered sweets in exchange.
Teddifeon's leafy bits change color with the seasons, growing pale in the winter months. During the spring they become golden-brown, and emit a pleasing honey-like aroma.
Though placid in the presence of humans and other Pokémon, Teddiran maintains a strong rivalry with others of its kind. Its quite common to see them charging at and headbutting into each other, particularly over food.
Teddiveon uses its ribbons to gather up extra honey and lick it off of them later. It gathers and consumes so much that even when cleaned off, the ribbons still carry the scent of honey.
The only thing that Teddilous's heads agree on is a love for honey. This leaves them often fighting over the snack and winding up coated and sticky, and often biting each other as they try to lick the stains off the other.
A honey-like drool drips from Teddibat's mouth at all times. The sweet scent attracts small insects to it, making it easy for it to slurp up the stuck bugs for a meal.
Teddith collects spare coins it finds and builds a collection. Once it gathers enough, it goes into human civilizations and attempts to barter its coins for tasty treats such as honey.
Teddichamp has a playful sense of pride in its musculature, always looking for a way to show off and impress others. It often expects to be rewarded with sweet honey treats for these displays of strength.
Some believe Tedditly is the spirit of deceased orphan Teddiursa. It floats through forests, its haunting wail causing Teddiursa to cry and Ursaring to go into grief-stricken rages.
Ursawak's strong arms let it wield the bone club with great effectiveness in battle, but its preferred use is more mundane: Ursawak enjoys smearing the bone with honey or sweet juices, saving them to lick up later.
Easy to anger, Ursahorn goes on charging rampages through the forests, bowling over trees and anything in its path. The only thing that can stop its charge is the scent of honey, whereupon it becomes very docile.
Though it looks aggressive, Ursamime takes its antics and attempts to entertain very seriously. Its usual act involves the upper arms arguing with the lower arms during their miming.
A bit sullen and antisocial, Ursavee tends to stick to its own devices, though it is easily lured closer with the promise of honey. If fed enough sweet treats, it will eventually open up and behave in a more upbeat fashion.
Ursawoodo's claws can be detached and used as throwing projectiles against opponents, as they regenerate over time. It's thought that this might have inspired the creation of shuriken in the past.
Ursatress produces a sticky, honey-like substance in its core, which it can fire as projectiles. The impact is powerful enough on its own, and the syrupy thickness often impedes an opponent's movement.
More aggressive than the average Teddiursa, Ursaursa tend to live more solitary lives fending for themselves. They are protective of Teddiursa however, and won't hesitate to claw viciously at anything that threatens them.
Though it has a gruff appearance, Ursabird enjoys sharing gifts from its bag with young children that behave well. It's been noted that all the gifts it hands out are related to honey in some way.
Ursamory's heavy body makes flying for long distances difficult, so it claims only small patches of territory. If angered, it may pluck one of its sharp feathers from its wings and use it as a throwing weapon.
Ursabok hides away in caves until the moonlit night falls and it can hunt. The ring on its chest reflects moonlight and casts hypnosis on victims who see it, stunning them and leaving them open to be constricted.
If you see a Ursaslash curl into a ball, do not assume it has gone on the defensive; it rolls into opponents at high speeds to cut and crush them with its bulk and sharp spines.
Urban legends warn not to go deep into forests at night or you may run afoul of Ursawile. The tales say that if you see its diminutive frame, it's already too late to escape its fearsome maw that lunges from the darkness.
Many a terrifying tale is told about sightings of Ursaclops in the night. As the stories go, a victim sees a glowing ring in the dark, becoming so hypnotized by the sight they never see spectral claws ready to descend upon them...
Ursaveon uses a honey-like secretion from its ribbons to mark territory. Circles drawn on tree trunks using this special sparkling honey indicate the trees have been claimed as Ursaveon's.
Ursapius's leaf-wings are comprised of a sweet and succulent honey-like substance. It constantly has to shake off bevies of smaller Pokémon that climb onto it to sample its flavor.
Ursanine patrols around deep forests, guarding the denizens within from harm. Stoic by nature, it never makes the first strike, but responds mercilessly to those who would choose violence against it or those it protects.
Ursanine patrols around deep forests, guarding the denizens within from harm. Some variations of the species are notably more pacifistic, shielding smaller Pokémon from attacks as they retreat to safety together.
Ursawrath's spiked fists are strong enough to stop a speeding semi-truck in its track with one punch. Rivals will test their strength by punching each other directly in the center of their circular chest patterns.
Ursachop holds itself to a high standard in appearing strong and stoic. This front is rather easily broken when offered honey, as it can't resist ecstatically gorging on the sweet treat.
Ursaler hibernates in caves, curling up and appearing as a large boulder to most. Anything that causes it to wake up will suffer powerful and painful claw swipes in retaliation.
Ursadash protects young forest Pokémon from poachers. With its tremendous strength and speed, it can scoop up helpless young and fend off attackers with powerful swipes or kicks before retreating faster than most can keep pace.
It scratches claw marks into trees that grow particularly flavorful fruit. The three heads will sometimes argue over whether a tree's fruit is worthy enough to be marked.
Slugdeen swim magma rivers, grouping together in small schools. During eruptions, one can witness several of them attempting to swim up the streams to climb the volcano's rim and enter its insides.
Slugzor's wings are not used for flying, but generating warmth to regulate its body temperature. Outside of its volcanic home, it must heat itself constantly, or its body would harden and become brittle as it cools.
Traveling through Slugshrew territory can be a risky endeavor: it rolls from one lava pool to another in order to avoid its body cooling down and drying up, paying no heed to anything that might be in its path as it does so.
One should take cover should it spot a Sluglord rising up from a lava pool. It surfaces to vent excess lava from its spout, which sprays all about and will burn anything in the surrounding area.
Slugram's molten body is said to be the result of its internal heat burning so hot that its body has begun to liquefy. It resides deep within volcanic caverns and only appears before those with truly fiery souls.
When standing still, Slugva vibrates its wings rapidly against its body. The wings generate heat and keep its body warm, so it doesn't cool down and begin to harden.
Slugbat are known to reside in large groups within volcanoes, attracted to the intense heat. If one sees a flock of Slugbat flying out of a volcano all at once, it's a sign an eruption is about to occur.
Slugda's lack of balance causes it to often fall over as it moves and lose its shape, becoming little more than a pool of magma. It takes several minutes for it to right itself and regain its normal form.
Rarely, plant life will form even in active volcanic areas, becoming Slugsprout. Though hardier than most plants due to their intense survival instinct, water will make it wilt rapidly.
A small shell of hardened magma has formed on Magma earlier than usual. The weight added to its small form makes it more difficult to stay moving and to resist its skin cooling and hardening.
Magtyke swims about in magma pools without a care. It often floats on its back, sunning itself and keeping its rocky underside dry and brittle.
Chunks of stone and magma swirl endlessly above Magtomb's core stone. Should these components retract into the stone, it means somewhere in the world a volcano is about to erupt.
Said by some to be the epitome of volcanic fury, Magdon is a figure of destruction in island mythology. The magma within its shell is believed to reach incalculable, impossible temperatures.
Magram appears to be the subject of ancient legends in some regions, that speak of kingdoms becoming too greedy and being melted away for their hubris by the powers of a molten dragon.
Fearkhan is a doting yet strict parent, encouraging its young to hunt for food on its own. It trains the child's flight by flapping its wings, providing strong gusts of wind the young must fly against.
Feardle primarily feeds on tiny fish in small ponds. It dips its stinger into the water to leak poison into it, then uses its beak to spear the sickened fish that float to the surface.
Feardrill uses the beak-like stingers on its arms to spear through fish and larger insects for consumption. It flies up to high canopies to eat, hoping to remain far away from any that would potentially steal its hard-earned meals.
It uses its wings to kick up strong gusts of wind to blow away trespassers in its territory. Those unable to be pushed away or those who return after ignoring this warning risk getting charged at and potentially skewered.
It perches coiled around tall trees, before using its wings to glide far distances and hunt unsuspecting prey. Having Fearbok glide over you while adventuring is said to be an unlucky omen.
Normally Feareon uses its extendable tongue to catch small bugs to satiate its hunger. However, its beak can also elongate slightly in a quick burst, making it effective at spearing fish swimming close to the surface.
Feartrum's powerful legs and eyes make it a fearsome hunter. It can spot prey miles in the distance, run rapidly to catch up, and leap long distances to pounce and clasp its powerful jaws down upon them.
Fearor keeps low to the ground, as its heavy round body is difficult to keep aloft for long. If another hunter tries to compete with it for a meal, Fearor fires short range beams of light from its eyes to deter them.
Swisir's pincers are very cold to the touch. It sniffs out succulent berries growing on trees, using its pincers to grab them, keeping them chilled and fresh until it's ready to eat.
Swireep's potent sense of smell allows it to sniff out tasty mushrooms even from long distances. If it's caught the scent of something good, the orb on its tail glows brightly.
Its sense of smell has been enhanced even further, able to sniff out food and other items buried deep within the dirt. Its large size means it can accidentally bowl over smaller creatures in its eagerness to investigate a smell.
Trained Swikid can sniff out high-quality mushrooms beneath the soil easily. When it catches a whiff, it runs to the spot and leaps head-first onto the soil, its twin prongs marking the spot that needs to be dug into.
Swieon lives a mostly sedentary lifestyle, making homes where fungi grow abundantly. It spends much of the day napping, using its long tongue to reach out and nab mushrooms when it's hungry.
Swiveon's strong sense of smell lets it easily locate mushrooms beneath the soil, which it then gathers up with its ribbons. It is especially adept at finding mushrooms that have soothing medicinal properties when eaten.
This variant of Swiveon is found in more frigid northern regions, and is especially good at finding rare fungi beneath the snow. These mushrooms are particularly noted for their calming effects when cooked and eaten.
Its fur coat keeps it a little warmer than is comfortable, so it wears an icy cloak to keep itself cool. When strong winds pick up, powdered snow drifts off of the cloak in large amounts.
With a lazy and simpleminded disposition, not much will rouse Swipoke from its constant slumbering. The best way to get it to wake up and move around is using the scent of mushrooms, its favorite snack.
Swiduo sniffs low to the ground searching for roots and mushrooms to snack on. Its highly skittish nature means that as soon as its heads have found food, they immediately run and hide to eat their meal in solace.
Switly makes little sniffling noises as it flies around frigid areas and leaves a trail of ghostly snowfall behind it. These flakes will give a person momentary chills on contact, even in warmer climates.
Swinix can smell food even through solid rock. If it catches a whiff of something intriguing, it will dig through an entire mountain just to get to the other side and investigate.
Despite its size, Swinix is a timid sort, likely to flee underground at the first sign of aggression. The scent of fresh mushrooms is usually enough to get it to venture out of its home.
Pilorina resides in frigid regions, using its tusks to root around the snowy ground for food. If it spots another creature chilled by the cold, it nuzzles close to warm them with its fur.
Piloveon's thick fur lets it remain nice and warm even in the heaviest of snowy conditions. With just a light brush of its ribbons, it can share its warmth with others, making it invaluable as a traveling companion through frigid areas.
Though its overgrown fur leaves it mostly blind, Piloloom compensates with a powerful sense of smell. It can pick out a foe's scent with ease and use its extendable arms with potent precision.
Corvee's adaptive form makes it more resilient to changes in water conditions around it. Nature preserves are introducing it to Corsola colonies in the hopes it may spread this resilience over time and help the species's longevity.
Corluff floats around tropical waters, carried by the ocean breeze. It dances in midair when hovering over coral reefs, and some say these dances improve the health of the reef and its inhabitants.
Restaurants and other shops in tropical regions often employ Corvoir to help serve clients. Customers are enamored by their vibrant appearance and impeccably professional service.
Corbat can be found in coastal cave areas, being highly active on sunny days. It hunts for small fish that typically mill near Corsola herds, snatching them from the water to drink their blood.
Because of the weight of its cocooned body, Remopod's swimming speed is rather low. It hides on the sea floor and defends itself with shots of compressed water fired from its mouth.
A Remoraid floats within the center of Remosteel, the body behaving similarly to its resident's instincts. The cannon on its arm can fire extremely rapid, accurate jets of water.
Its face is a rather perfect encapsulation of its skittish and timid personality. It steers clear of most anything other than its own kind, panicking and spitting ink at those that approach and startle it.
Though it swims at a leisurely pace, Octiking is not to be trifled with; its many mouth tentacles can crush smaller prey with ease, and create and lob painful globs of ink at anything larger.
Octiras tend to follow large ships out of a sense of precaution. Should disaster strike, they use their large body and many tentacles to hold and carry as many survivors to safety as they possibly can.
Some Octillery will hitch rides on top of Slowking, replacing its crown. Its intelligence diminishes as a result, but it retains enough to function in tandem with its new passenger.
After fusing, Octillery now sports armor plating to help its resilience in standing its ground and firing powerful ink shots at foes. There exist some records that indicate this may have once been Octillery's natural form.
Octilord can store and expel absolutely massive torrents of ink for defense. A single Octilord could fill multiple swimming pools with ink and still not have depleted half of its stored contents.
Many works of fiction use imagery similar to Octiceus to depict evil deities. There is some historical records that some island civilizations made offerings to it in the past to ensure safe travels across the oceans.
It's advisable to give Octiduck a wide berth for safety; at any moment, it may experience a migraine that causes it to lose control of its bodily functions and spew ink all around it.
Delipom offers the two bags it carries to passersby, letting them choose which to accept a gift from. In one it carries entertaining trinkets, and in the other only useless junk, so every offering is a gamble.
Those who have been overly cruel to others are said to risk being haunted by Delimagius. It comes in the dead of night, its cold whispering cry said to gift those it haunts with horrendous nightmares, as retribution for the anguish they've caused.
Delichu happily hands out gifts from its bag, but it only allows itself to be the one to handle said bag. Anything that tries to touch it will be in for a nasty zap from its bolt-shaped tail.
Tales of the one who delivers gifts at the holidays describe Delicario as his assistants. As the stories go, this Pokémon can sense the auras of children to determine who is naughty or nice.
Deliking enjoys the act of giving and sharing, but has no tolerance for greedy individuals and thieves. Anyone trying to take from another in its vicinity will be sent flying with a swing of its full bag of gifts.
It constantly produces snow-like material inside its bubble that leaves it cold to the touch. Delisis enjoys being held by others in need of cooling down, cooing softly as it shares its temperature.
Its bag is filled with shiny trinkets it finds and wishes to share. Deep-sea divers hope to run across Delider during their dives, as it could potentially gift something very profitable.
Manras is most often found in tropical waters near coral reefs. It feels a strong protective instinct towards Corsola species, defending them from any threats that swim by.
Occasionally, small creatures will make Manras's back their home. Manras quickly grows protective and attached to them, and defends them with a ferocity not often seen in most Lapras fusions.
Some say a Mantomb is created when a Mantine and its Remoraid passenger pass away simultaneously. The ghostly spirit steers swimmers away from dangerous waters, and has saved many divers from ill fates.
Manray delights in doing evil acts, though most of its actions are inconvenient pranks at worst. It possesses a strange aversion to sea sponges and starfish, for unknown reasons.
Despite cutting a fearsome visage, Manedo is very kind and docile, patrolling Sharpedo-infested waters to keep humans safe. It sometimes adopts young Carvanha and raises them to be equally even-tempered.
Manine is commonly seen aiding lifeguards around the world. Quick on land and even quicker in the water, it can locate and retrieve a person in danger with the greatest haste.
Skarbone scavenges up a Skarmory skull for defense and some shed metal feathers for offense. It scrapes its feather blade against the skull to make a screeching noise that disorients predators.
Skardle's wings are too heavy to let it fly, instead used primarily as threat displays. The tips of each feather also contain a mild amount of toxins, should its warning go unheeded.
Despite a heavy metal body making prolonged flight difficult, Skardactyl is a surprisingly agile glider. It dives after prey and crashes into them forcefully, before cutting at them with the sharp edges of its wings.
Electric charges from Skareep's wool travel up its wings, letting it discharge bolts of lightning with strong flaps. It has a strong-willed personality, so few are allowed to shear its wool.
Should an intruder approach Skarsire's territory, it will raise its arms and emit a cry of intimidation. Whether or not the intruder flees, Skarsire won't do anything else after its display.
By flapping its steel wings fast enough, Skarmega creates a high-pitched screech that stuns and disorients prey. At top speed, Skarmega creates sonic booms that can shatter glass as it flies past.
Skarceus's body is made of a rare metal not seen naturally on this world. The red feathers of its wings can detach and act independently of itself in order to better defend itself from those who would try to harm it.
Skarblade's two blades are made of a steel material that stays sharp no matter how many battles it fights. It scrapes its blades together to create an intimidating and ear-splitting screech to make its foes cower before it.
Hounchan decides hierarchy in the pack through rigorous sparring matches. The rare Hounchan that attempts dirty tactics on another will be cast out, no matter if it was victorious or not.
Old science records show that Hounvee was once thought to be a regional variant of Eevee until it was disproved. The skull-like marking on its head shifts color based on elemental affinity, hinting the evolution it may undertake.
Hounrita communicates with its pack via subtle changes in the scent created by its leaf. Pollen spread by the leaf is used as an ingredient in some spicy Johto dishes.
Hounchu are rambunctious little troublemakers inhabiting urban areas. They swipe discarded bones from meals, and use them as heavy clubs to hit and annoy bigger creatures before running off with a barking cackle.
Hounrogue trains together in packs, swapping sparring partners often. Pack members hope for differing evolution, as it will allow a better variety in training partners when the time comes.
Hounchu are rambunctious and rebellious by nature. Though they function in a pack, the hierarchy shifts constantly as they regularly battle amongst each other for dominance and standing.
Hounbi operate in small groups with a single pack leader. If the pack fails in a hunt, the leader will rewind time and let the group try again, as many times as it takes until the hunt is successful.
Hounshrew hunts in small packs in arid desert areas. The pack lies in wait until prey draws near, then takes turns crashing into it from different sides with their curled-up bodies until their target is knocked out.
Should Hounchar feel endangered, it will shriek and flare up the fire on its tail, alerting the rest of the pack. The whole group will fling small fireballs at the foe until the danger has passed.
Images of Hounedge appear often in depictions of medieval times. It's said that it was the partner of choice to knights who became corrupt, breaking or forsaking their oaths.
Hounolu can create small blue aura flames on their body and even breathe out small aura fireballs. The pack trains together to hone auras, flaring at each other to determine which is stronger and decide the hierarchy.
Though it has an impish appearance, Hounish is rather friendly and docile. It often shows up in media as a comically-inept henchman to villainous characters.
Hounbish has been described as having a pungent sulfuric scent, intensified by its tendency to live in small groups. It likes to burn garbage with fire breath before consuming it.
As Hounphox gather in small packs, they hold the flames on their sticks together to create a greater fire. Gazing as a group into the great flame fills them with vigor, making their next coordinated hunt that much more effective.
Game Corners have put out warnings to patrons about Hounth packs, as they have learned to loiter in wait for exiting customers so they can harass them and try to steal their shiny coins.
Due to the headaches they suffer from, their coordination as a pack has suffered, their hunting methods disorganized. The one whose headaches create the strongest psychic pulse is considered the leader.
Hounpoke are popular for being loyal and adorable pets, though they are considered difficult to train. This is not because of any behavioral problems, but that taught tricks will be forgotten within a week.
Hounmite congregates in small groups around lit lampposts at night. It communicates by rubbing its magnets against each other, producing small bursts of electricity.
Its goop-like body burns hot and emits a rancid aroma. People throw it bones leftover from meals to appease it and make it leave, but it takes this as a sign of friendship and lingers longer because of it.
Hountung's thin, prehensile tongue is surprisingly strong, able to constrict and lift large creatures with ease. Its saliva leaves a nasty lingering burn on anything it licks.
Hounchu is considered quite dangerous despite its cute and friendly appearance. Its small body cannot properly contain the toxins that cause lingering burns, so an errant touch could have excruciating results.
Hounperior creates so much fire within its body, it cannot fully contain it. It shoots flames from its arms hot enough to melt a mountain in minutes.
Hounvoir delights in casting a devilish appearance that strikes fear in the hearts of others, though it is all simply an act. It is actually quite afraid of actual combat, and the blood it appears to drink is simply berry juice.
Fragmented records of a being similar to Hounceus have been discovered in ancient ruins. They illustrate a deity that drags away the wicked with 1000 summoned arms to burn the evil in their souls to ash with cleansing flame.
With a wave of its hand, Houndon can cause dark flames to crack the earth and erupt from the ground. Prophets from ancient civilizations once believed Houndon would pass judgement on humanity by setting the world aflame.
Legends say that the end of days will come from Hounquaza descending from the sky and scorching the earth with flames that will never stop burning. Few believe the stories, but those that do are manic in their preparations.
A vindictive little forest spirit, Hountump sneaks up on trespassers in its territory before poking them with its tail. Being jabbed by the tip of its tail leaves one with a stinging burn that inevitably leaves a spade-shaped mark on the skin.
The tar-like substance that comprises its body is horrifically acidic and deadly. The bones seen within Hounuk's body are all that remains of prey it has engulfed and consumed.
It possesses a flicking tongue, yet none have seen for sure if it actually has a mouth. When threatened, it will rattle its tail, producing electric sparks.
It shakes and rattles the tail in its hand as an intimidation tactic against predators. Those that are not dissuaded by the act will find it is still an effective weapon in Ekbone's hands.
If something approaches that could threaten the egg, Eksey swallows it and flees. Once it feels safe again, it regurgitates it back out and resumes its nurturing ways.
Though effective at quickly and quietly attacking prey from above, Ekgey is most vulnerable after a successful hunt. Its wings are not strong enough to lift both itself and its latest meal.
It was once said that gazing into Ekvoir's eyes would turn one to stone, but the truth is more mundane. The many Ekans on its head use psychic powers to stun others as an instinctive defense mechanism.
In addition to punches and kicks, Ekolu uses its tail as a whip to strike and trip up foes to give it an edge in combat. The tip of its tail is an organ for sensing the aura of other creatures, making it difficult to sneak up on.
The true body hides within a hollow, yet sturdy false body that it controls at will. It lashes out at close opponents, striking out from the eye or mouth holes to poison a foe before retreating back within its defensive shell.
It snakes its way through the hollowed gears as they turn, seemingly deriving energy from them. Should the serpent be separated from them, it becomes listless and almost immobile.
Ekpod is a skittish sort, darting away at the first sign of trouble and finding somewhere to hide. It leaves a faint trail of poisonous ooze in its wake.
Ekmer can shift its body into a more serpentine shape that makes it look almost identical to Ekans. It does this to infiltrate groups of Ekans before hunting and consuming them whole.
Kingoh lives high up on the top of mountain peaks located on remote islands. It can spray a prismatic mist to blind others that try to pursue it, and disappear beneath the waves and swim away just as quickly as it can fly.
It flaps its ears to generate electricity stored within its body. It releases bolts of lightning from its trunk in self-defense. Occasionally sparks fly out when it trumpets normally.
Phanther loves to support others with a friendly pat. Due to its appearance, this often sends the uninformed into a panic, until they realize Phanther's arms are soft and plush, despite their blade-like appearance.
Phanphan are adored for their cute appearance, but are banned in many places as pets. Their massive size combined with their strength and overly-playful nature is too prone to accidental destruction.
When psyching itself up for battle, small puffs of aura can be seen flaring out from Phanolu's trunk. Its scrappy fighting technique relies heavily on combat rolls for dodging blows.
Phanron plays with others of its kind by charging into each other and wrestling with their metallic trunks. Training Phanron in pairs is advised, as few other Pokémon can keep up with its playful roughhousing.
It flies through its cavernous home by flapping its ears rapidly. The process is rather exhausting, so Phanbat prefers to move around via hitching rides on large stone Pokémon in the wild, or perched on its Trainer.
Phankey is seen as more friendly than most Mankey fusions due to its playful nature, but care must be taken: not playing with it enough will send it into a destructive tantrum.
The second head provides Phanduo with a playmate to help keep it from being lonely. The two heads often trumpet in tandem while playing, and many even develop their own "secret handshakes" with their trunks.
When rolling forward at high speeds, Donlix's tough, uneven body tears up the landscape around it. It could conceivably destabilize the inside of a small mountain in minutes.
With an extremely sturdy hide and spikes across its body, Donpardos was a powerhouse among the ancient world. A single Donpardos could defend a herd of smaller Pokémon from throngs of would-be predators.
Its wings are incredibly tough, acting as built-in shields that deflect attacks with ease. The edges are very sharp as well, able to cut clean through a boulder with little effort.
Donvanha's tough hide combined with its tendency to travel in moderate-sized schools makes it quite difficult to prey on. Some ships carry bait to keep the groups swimming close to the boat as a way to guard it from other aggressive undersea life.
It travels into cyberspace when it wants to contemplate its thoughts. If one spots a Poryowl floating upside-down while in the computer, it's in a particularly heavy state of rumination.
Poryown appears rarely within cyberspace, often on sites pertaining to research into the paranormal. It can hijack text boxes to communicate, but despite its apparent intelligence it can only create short, basic sentences.
Poryans's body is made of a soft material that deforms with a slight touch. It can flatten and reshape itself to an extent, making it excellent at hiding away in small spaces; it often prefers being inside computer towers.
Four core processing units working simultaneously give Porygross vast intellectual capacity. It is often used to assist in programming, making improvements and fixing coding errors in mere seconds.
Poryrachi's artificial intelligence is quite robust, letting it store vast amounts of data and knowledge on many subjects. It seems most fascinated by the subject of wishes.
At first glance Poryink appears smooth and rounded, but the sides of its gears are made up of numerous tiny ridges that interlock during rotation. This design lets it spin and generate energy much quicker and more effectively.
It wields the remains of a Stantler that fell victim to poaching. It strikes the bone club against the antlers to produce an echoing sound that causes dizziness and hallucinations in its target.
It forages among the flowers during the height of their blooming. Stanfree's antlers detect subtle shifts in the air that let it sense the changing of weather and seasons.
Stanther has orbs that possess telekinetic capabilities in both its antlers and its scythes. If it focuses with all four, it can exhibit abilities almost on par with the most potent of Psychic Pokémon.
A lethargic denizen of the forest, Stanlax rarely gets up and moves, even to forage. It uses light hypnotic powers from its antlers to influence others to leave food behind for it instead.
Stansire enjoys soaking itself and sifting around in the bottoms of muddy waters. When it surfaces, its antlers are usually coated with muck it can fling at those who try to agitate it.
Being highly territorial while residing in a rather small area in the wild means Stanrow fights are a common sight. Bucks charge into each other while airborne to lock antlers and battle for dominance.
Stantank's milk is found to be extra creamy and delectable, if fattening. The species is considered something of a holiday icon in certain parts of the world, often paired with Delibird in imagery.
Those who have caused harm to Stanmagius's home will incite its ire, and its curse. A spell cast from its antlers will cause the victim to hallucinate an endless terrifying forest they will wander in for days.
Stangrowth's extending tentacles let it reach high branches and find the tastiest berries to eat. On occasion, it also grabs pretty leaves, pine cones and other accessories to decorate its antlers with.
The orbs on Stanceus's ring light up according to the seasons, one light fading and another growing as the season changes. In olden times, some civilizations believe Stanceus itself controlled the seasonal change.
Stanmeleon is fiercely competitive and territorial, locking antlers with rivals constantly in the wild. Embers fly when they butt heads, and particularly aggressive displays may cause their antlers to ignite.
Stanlett's antlers vibrate rapidly to help it dig through soil more easily while underground. This same vibrations can disorient creatures that come too close when it peeks above ground.
One head is curious and trusting, the other paranoid and on guard. This clash of personalities often results in small fights and locked antlers between the two.
Smearto draws images on surfaces before transforming based on what it has painted. It practices hard so that one day both its art and its transformations will be perfect replications.
The multicolored plumage of Smeardos's wings summons forth lightning in a multitude of colors. The thunderstorms it summons are technicolor marvels as awe-inspiring as they are devastating.
Many artists have Smearnite as an assistant, always eager to fetch supplies and aid in artistry. If asked for advice, it points to the color on its stomach it feels would most complement the work-in-progress.
While most look at Smearking's artwork and see laziness, some art appraisers swear that there is a unique meaning and deeper symbolism behind the lack of effort.
Smearceus levitates bits of color sourced from the ring on its torso, splattering them against surfaces to make works of beautiful art in seconds. Some believe that if it wished, it could bring any of its artistic creations to life.
The sky is Smearquaza's home, and its canvas. It moves, shapes and paints the clouds in the air into massive works of art that inspire the masses below.
Colorful, freezing beams of energy can be fired from Smearem's body at will. Anything struck by them will be frozen in ice that matches the color of the beam.
Speedy and stealthy while airborne, Smearjask quickly draws art across the landscape before darting away. It's believed these markings are meant to serve as communicative markers to others of its kind.
Smearpede rolls at high speeds, spearing a paint-like mucus its body leaks across the ground to make artwork that doubles as territorial markers. When wet, the slime is highly acidic and toxic, so cleaning it off is a difficult process.
Smearitty happily smears the liquid from its tail to make art pieces to gift to its Trainer. Smearitty devotees have begun organizing conventions focused on letting Trainers share artwork their partners have made for them.
Smearduck's sporadic headaches make every artistic endeavor a gamble. If a migraine strikes mid-painting, it could cause it to thrash and ruin the painting, or surge with inspiration and create something truly magnificent.
The colorful substances leaking from Smearby's claws are unique to each member of the species, used to mark territory. Fights between Smearby over these territorial claims leave beaches a colorful mess.
Tyvee is quite easy to train, as both its body and personality are highly adaptive to different sorts of training. It is most happy when given a variety of new training challenges to adapt to and overcome.
The ring of bumps around Tyrita's neck changes color one by one as it matures and strengthens. Once all have shifted hue, it evolves to its next form within the next few days.
A common fighting tactic for Tygey is to kick up dust or sand with its wings, blinding an opponent before swooping in close to fight with a flurry of kicks and wing strikes.
Tydos can skillfully generate thread on the fly, letting it lasso in foes to drag them into close-quarters combat. It deftly uses its fists and multiple legs to beat opponents into submission.
Tyotto are fierce fighters, sparring often with others of their own kind to help them grow stronger. They often encourage smaller bird Pokémon to join in as well so they can become worthy future opponents.
The tiny Tychu is just bursting with combat energy to burn. If its training sessions last long enough, it will begin emitting sparks from its limbs with every kick or punch thrown.
Though it has a tiny and frail body, Tykern dreams of becoming a strong fighter as it grows. In the early morning, it can be seen using its singular hand on its head to perform push-ups.
Using quick aerial speed and reflexes, Tyma attempts to grapple and wrestle other airborne Pokémon out of the sky as training. Grappling matches between two Tyma are said to be particularly thrilling to watch.

Some say that one can figure out what Tyape will evolve into by provoking it and seeing whether it predominantly punches or kicks during the rampage. Due to how destructive it can be, this is advice rarely taken.
As training, it will blow bubbles in a random amount and pattern around itself. It then sees how quickly and efficiently it can pop all of them with its punches and kicks.
In battle, Tyler's lower arms are the ones primarily used for punching; the larger upper arms are used to help it get into positions where it can roll over or launch at foes with forceful kicks.
Tyeel attempts to train its fists and feet in equal measure, both in the water and out. Some have even trained to the point where they can stand and fight upright for prolonged periods of time on land.
Though its gaseous body has no arms or legs, wisps imitating them can briefly be seen as Tytly fights. It strengthens these phantom limbs, preparing for the day it evolves actual physical limbs.

Hitmoncorio's dances contain lots of spins and twirls, both on the ground and in grand leaping movements. It can easily create tornadoes of fire to menace opponents in combat.
Extremely affectionate by nature, Smoosaur makes a gesture with its vines to express its attachment to others. Doing so is usually followed by using those vines to pull the target of its love closer so it can kiss them as well.
Although the smooching noises it makes with its lips seem cute, it is actually a warning from Smoonyte. Ignoring the warning will cause one to be splattered with a spit of ink before Smoonyte swims away.
Innocent and carefree, Smoopi blows kisses at anyone and everyone it passes by. Those that blow a kiss back are considered a friend for life from that moment on.
Smoosire communicates with noises that sound similar to kissing. This makes many assume it has an amiable personality, but in reality it is quite prickly and standoffish, slapping away at those who come too close.
Smoorina thinks of itself as a caretaker for younger Pokémon, believing that a kiss will calm overly rambunctious youths. Given its kiss contains a mild paralytic, the tactic does prove viable in a technical sense.
Getting pricked by Smoomuku's spines results in a strong bout of paralysis. If afflicted, the most effective cure for the condition is being kissed by Smoomuku, which immediately relieves the paralyzing effect.
When angry, Eletung slams its tongue against the ground to create sparks. One lick from its tongue can leave the licked limb paralyzed for up to an hour.
Internally, Elereon constantly generates a mixture of electricity and heat, leaving it warm to the touch. When it shakes its fur after grooming, tiny sparks and embers flake off.

It constantly tries to impress others with its electric powers, firing bursts of lightning from its cannon rapidly to any who would watch. Its energy constantly runs out as a result of the showboating, leaving it exhausted often.
It has very little electrical prowess to generate on its own. Elekyu resorts to plugging itself into outlets and siphoning power from there in order to have enough to produce visible electricity.

Steam rises from Magduck's head when it is suffering from a particularly strong migraine. When the pain finally subsides, it exhales a thick cloud of dark smoke in relief.
Raising Milhoot is a finicky process, as it must be milked at a strict time every day or become agitated. However, trying to milk it any other time will cause it to become even more incensed.
Milba often shares its milk with small and young insect Pokémon like Caterpie and Wurmple to help their growth. It uses its many fists to swat away at anything trying to pick them off while it feeds them.

Milfarig's back half appears liquid, yet is actually simply just coated with viscous milk from not being milked enough. The tail proves very affectionate if cleansed of its gooey layer of coating.
At first glance, it appears to lack milk. Close inspection reveals an extremely slow trickle at the end of each feather, allowing it to hydrate itself after long or arduous flights.
Docile and friendly, Miltler are a common sight on farms alongside their Miltank brethren. The milk it produces is a less sweet and less fattening alternative to the usual fare.

Few have managed to sample the milk from Milceus's ring, which is said to be a type of divine ambrosia. Supposedly, the milk is so nutritious that drinking it once will keep a person from getting sick for a year.
The bells at the end of Milveon's ribbons produce a delightful chime when shaken. Miltank are drawn to the sound, so many farms use Milveon to assist in herding them.

In a distant region, Milucha is used as the mascot for a number of popular dairy products. Commercials tend to depict it liberating the products from a greedy Raticate villain before sharing it with hungry children.
Milbeat milk is noted for glowing in the dark slightly, making it something of a novelty drink in some regions. Drinking a large amount in a short time will even make one's stomach glow faintly.
With its magnets now replaced with udders, science was baffled as to how it retained much of its Magnemite capabilities, until it was discovered the milk itself was very highly magnetic.
Its second head appears to be an udder, but a functioning brain resides within. It pressures the other head to drink from it, which tends to make it uncomfortable with its insistence.
Miltoise can fire high-pressure milk from its cannons over long distances, quenching thirsts for miles. Though it shares that milk freely, only its own young are allowed to nurse from its udders.
The oddly-shaped stone segments seem to be where milk is produced and a lure to attract other Pokémon to drink. However, it turns aggressive should any try to sample from anywhere other than its udders.

Its small size belies a very ruthless and cutthroat demeanor. It strong-arms its way to becoming a leader of Murkrow gangs, arranging coordinated heists and forcing its peons to forfeit a fraction of their ill-gotten gains to it.
Honchlicky has a laid-back and jovial personality, often plodding about in urban areas. If it sees Murkrow misbehaving, though, it gives the troublesome bird a disciplinary wallop on the head.
Mysterious and aloof, Honchvoir is never seen without a loyal flock of Murkrow ready to follow its whims. If one tips its cap to you, you've earned its respect, and the flock will be obedient to you as well.
Bonian has a sensitive heart that is very attuned to nature. If it comes across a fallen tree while in flight, it clings to the tree and cries softly for several minutes.
Bontly silently follows those feeling down, using some of its ghostly gaseous form to cause them to cry. It does this not out of malice, but to try and give the person a measure of catharsis and relief through the crying.
A prankster that preys on the curious, Mimedle hides in its box until something comes near to check out the strange cube, before springing forth from within and using its horn to deliver a paralyzing venom, then cackling as it hops away.
Mimedos suddenly drops from tree canopies to land in front of startled creatures, observing their reaction quietly. It then climbs back up its tree and spins a web designed to depict their fearful expression.
The orbs on Mimedon's body jingle like bells when its sturdy skull is struck. Groups of Mimedon headbutt each other to strengthen their skulls, creating a cacophony of bell-ringing.
If it finds a person unappreciative of its dances and mimicry, Mimeoom squeezes its nose. This causes the flower on its head to squirt a noxious liquid at the victim, leaving them tainted with the foul smell for days.
Happipie crawls along the tree branches, leaving behind the egg-like tip of its tail and growing new ones in its wake. These tail-tips are a healthy snack for growing young Bug-type Pokémon.
Happidle is pacifistic in nature, and lacks major defenses. If a predator draws near, it attempts to offer the detachable orb on its tail instead, which sates most appetites for a day.
Happivee has a habit of collecting stones and making nests out of them to sleep in. It's said that the type and shape of the stones hints what its future evolution will be.
Happito rests itself on the sands, its pale exterior often being mistaken for an abandoned egg. If something tries to pick it up, it quickly rolls over and nips at them before making a hasty retreat.
Happihoot finds egg-shaped rocks in the wild and creates nests around them, then sits on and nurtures them as practice for future real eggs. It has a strict schedule of checking the status of its charge every five minutes on the dot.
It charges the stone it carries with small amounts of electricity before rubbing the stone against weary people and Pokémon. This electric massage helps to soothe and stimulate sore muscles.
Happitata gathers up small white stones and places them together in small nests. Though normally docile, it will staunchly protect these nests, biting and scratching those coming too close.
Happikern uses the small stones it carries to practice taking care of actual plant seeds in the future. It will even bury them in fresh soil with plenty of sunlight and water provided, even singing to the stones to promote their growth.
When it flies, the rapid flapping of its wings emits a low-frequency hum. It has a calming, soothing effect on those nearby, helping to relieve tension in mind and body.
It gathers egg-shaped stones and carries them away to create makeshift nests. These nests are always in the vicinity of ruins, suggesting a significance to their placement.
Happicross stores egg-shaped stones inside holes dug into trees. The reasoning for doing this is twofold: practice for safeguarding actual eggs in the future, and to lick and clean tasty sap off the stones.
Happizone has an incubator apparatus on its top, used to nurture eggs until hatching. It uses powerful magnetic waves to repel away anything that could possibly harm the eggs it cares for.
The egg-like organ at the end of Happicor's tail is actually a poison sac. It uses it as a lure to draw out egg-poaching Pokémon, before the bulb bursts and coats the would-be hunter with a debilitating poison, making it easy prey.
Happicko carries eggs on its large, soft tail to keep them safe and warm. Its tail perfectly balances the egg while carrying it, and reacts aggressively towards anything that threatens that balance.
Happidoof gnaws on wood pieces until they're worn down into the shape of an egg. It then nurtures and protects the wooden egg, in practice for one day nurturing the real deal.
Happirade carries around large egg-like stones to practice caring for the real thing. Because this typically leaves it with only one arm to defend itself, they become very adept using a singular thorny whip in battle with devastating precision.
Happiolu can imbue some of its gentle aura into the stone it carries. When shared with others, those gifted the stone will feel more calm and peaceful while carrying it.
Happicorio dances and cheers to support its teammates, often preferring it to actually being in battle. After grueling matches, it rushes to its friends' side to deliver a light electric massage with its pom-poms.
Happiwear loves to give anyone it can a big hug in order to lift their spirits. While well-meaning, this can be dangerous, as it's strength can only be described as bone-crushing.
The pouch that Happiaura stores egg-like stones in keeps the rocks chilled thanks to its cool body. It occasionally lends these stones to friends on warm days to help them cool down.
It becomes very emotionally attached to the egg-shaped stone it carries. It cannot retreat into its shell while holding it, so it often gets hurt protecting its precious cargo.
It electrifies the bone club it carries to enhance its effectiveness in battle. Raiwak can even tether it to itself via sustained lightning and control its midair trajectory to ensure it hits the target.
When not transformed, Raito maintains a Raichu-like shape, seemingly viewing it as the ideal form for itself. Under close observation, one can see electricity arcing within its gelatinous body.
All of its potent electrical power is centered in the large tip of its tail. Raipom makes a show of juggling balls of condensed lightning with its tail before lobbing the projectile at its foes.
Researchers theorize this form may be one Raichu took naturally in a distant past of Kanto history. It has yet to be determined why Raichu can no longer naturally take this form.
Over time, a Raisharp typically amasses itself a small following of Electric-type Pokémon. It trains them thoroughly, often providing its own electricity to boost their strengths when they falter in combat.
Using its tail, Raitula can quickly draw up webs made of lightning anywhere it pleases. These webs dissipate after zapping unsuspecting bugs, which become charred meals for Raitula.
Raixorus's claws and tusks are made of lightning, only visible once it readies itself for combat. The more it surges its massive electrical energy, the longer and sharper its tusks and claws grow.
After discharging electricity, the mushroom noticeably shrinks and shrivels. Raisect must be careful to let itself recharge, lest its protective cap dry out completely and leave it helpless.
Special organs within Raisopod's largest hands store electrical charges. When forced into close-quarters combat, it dispels the stored energy on contact to create powerful shockwave punches that blow its foes away.
Bearing a resemblance to Golem's Alolan counterpart, Railem is less aggressive by comparison, but contains far greater stores of electricity. An angered Railem could carve chunks out of a mountain with its lightning bolts.
Lightning trails behind Raidash when it gallops at full speed, taking off with a sound akin to a thunderbolt when it runs. During heavy rain and thunderstorms, it prances happily among the thunder and lightning.
Raidrio builds up internal stores of electricity as it races across the land. When it finally stops, it releases the stored-up energy in a powerful burst, creating vicious electric storms all around it.
Traveling in a clutch of around six, Munchcute only separate as a group in order to forage food. Once they've found it, they group back together, refusing to eat until the entire group is assembled.
Munchtini was initially thought to be cannibalistic in early scientific reports, until further research revealed that it simply devours its own shed skin immediately after molting.
Munchba strings together chains of berries so that it always has a snack while flying around. Munchba in the wild sometimes get into tug-of-war matches over these food-strings.
Interestingly, Munchrak's favorite snack is the webbing of other arachnid Pokémon. Left unchecked, it could remove the webs of an entire colony of Ariados in an hour, and still feel peckish.
Munchkrow swoops in and pilfers trinkets from passersby. It has no use for what it steals, but will only return it to those who give chase if they present it with food to trade back what it stole.
Munchpy's hunger and greed can lead it to snatching food from others before curling into a ball and rolling away. The high speed and momentum often lead to it getting sick once it finally stops.
The paint on Munchgle's tail primarily consists of the pulped remains of its berry meals, so its drawings always retain a faintly sweet smell after being painted. Fittingly, most of its artwork includes food in some form.
The nutrients absorbed from eating so many berries allows Munchgrowth to grow its own on some of its vines. These also get feasted upon when ripe, and have been noted to be rather juicier than the average berry.
Living at the outskirts of human civilizations, Munchlia travels into towns and cities to find people to show its plodding, lumbering dances to. It's considered customary to gift it food as payment for the performance.
Munchveon uses its ribbons to nab at any bits of food it can find. If something else reaches for food it wants, it smacks them with its ribbons, which cause the struck victim to suddenly lose all traces of appetite.
Munchkoth are so indolent as to be almost immobile for 90 percent of their life. They lay around in clearings or near civilization, opening their mouth at passersby in the hopes of food being shared with them.
Munchon's first instinct when discovering something new is to attempt to eat it. Its teeth, mouth and digestive tract are covered with a strong metallic layer, so eating rough, pointed or even toxic items won't bother it.
Munchduck constantly gorges on snacks, as the act of eating nullifies its almost eternally aching head. The longest recorded time between it stopping eating and suffering a new headache is four minutes.
Munchape's greed and hunger are equally intense, so one should give it plenty of space when it feeds. Staring for too long will be considered a challenge and incite it to violently defend its meal.
Its massive appetite is due in part to the calories needed to maintain its strict training regimen. Eating and training are so intertwined it will often be seen with a full mouth even while exercising.
A sweet-smelling drool drips from Munchsprout's mouth, attracting insects where it lands. The hungrier it is, the sweeter the drool becomes in order to draw more bugs quickly so it can eat.
It picks up fish bones to use as headgear and a club for defense. On moonlit nights, it can sometimes be seen drawing the outline of a Mantine in the sand, then curling up and resting in the center.
Manfree flutters around beaches, preferring to feed from flowers that grow nearer to seawater. It likes to play with beach-goers by tickling them with its antennae.
Manmime loves helping rear young children, using charades as a way to turn learning things like numbers and shapes into a game. Upon a right answer, Manmime claps and embraces the child to reward their efforts.
Manossom's dance is a bouncy, playful movement taking place on the seashore. It's said if a large enough group dance together, the seas will be smooth and calm for days afterward.
Mantata sightings are fairly common in beach areas, and they are considered docile and unobtrusive. The membranes on their arms let them glide through the air for short distances.
Mansey spends most of its time underwater, but breaches out onto land to occasionally share eggs it creates with humans and other Pokémon. The eggs are especially effective for combating seasickness.
Manqueen is a common sight within water parks. Its swimming skills and friendly, gentle nature, particularly with children, make it an excellent lifeguard as well as mascot.
Mangoo loves to give out hugs to others, which leaves the hugged person stained with the slime it constantly emits. Though the slime is harmless, the smell of salt water lingers for some time even after cleaning it off.
Child-like and extremely friendly, Mandra is quick to run to new acquaintances to give them a hug. It leaves a sticky goop behind when it hugs someone, but the slime quickly dissolves in water.
Mantoy hops around sandy beaches, quickly burying itself underground if it senses danger. Those that try to look into the hole it leaves behind get sprayed with jets of water.
Weavsel is a solitary hunter inhabiting colder regions. It lures parent Pokémon away from their nests before using the distraction to quickly snatch and eat the unguarded eggs.
A sly and manipulative Pokémon, Weavmory saves smaller creatures from harm before demanding offerings for its good deed. It makes a show of displaying its many sharp edges to discourage them from refusing.
Sly combatants inhabiting frigid regions, Weavlade band together and form small bandit groups raiding unsuspecting travelers. This tactical coordination ends once it is time to divide up the spoils.
Weavlade can extend a long singular claw from each of its elbows, no less sharp than the ones on its hands. To keep these blades sharp, it practices by slicing and carving away at large ice chunks for training.
Sly, defensive combatants, Weavcham never make the first move in battle. Their entire combat style revolves around weaving away from every strike, and countering with perfectly-placed claw swipes aimed at weak points.
Using electricity manipulated via its antennae, it can control magnets in battle. A pair of drone-like entities follow it at all times, aiding in battle as well as scouting for good feeding spots.
Magnerill uses a mixture of magnetism, electricity and extendable claws to disorient and capture targets. Once seized, it simply observes them closely before releasing them; its motivations for doing so are still unknown.
In battle, Magneking can devastate foes with powerful strikes and searing beams of energy. However, its energy consumption is so vast that it needs to recharge after every action.
Magnewrath pummels its opponents with its large extendable magnet-fists. Its antenna emits subtle radio waves that mess with a foe's concentration, making it harder for them to evade its strikes.
Lickimagius's tongue wraps all around its body and holds onto a large sweet brimming with magic. One must never accept if offered a taste, for the object is cursed and will pass a hex onto those foolish enough to lick.
Lickimagius that have licked their magical treat clean are particularly dangerous, as their tongue has now absorbed all the magic. Their tongue now casts all the spells, the candy now reduced to a potent bludgeoning tool.
Lickibell's saliva has a sweet scent that draws insects closer to its gaping maw. Once anything flies nearby, its tongue shoots out and grabs up its new meal and drags it back into its mouth.
Though Rhydon is slow and mainly fights defensively, one must not underestimate its strength; its drill-horns can dig through stone with ease, and can be fired from its head at high speeds into distant targets.
It's said that Rhynoir gathers and consumes souls so that it may serve to do its bidding in combat. It fires spectral projectiles in combat that curses those hit with overwhelming dread.
Though slow and heavy, Rhyedo is an adept hunter. Hanging near the ocean floors, it vacuums debris into its hands to fire powerful shots at distant targets, knocking them out and leaving them helpless to avoid becoming prey.
This alternative coloration of Rhyedo was first discovered in oceans highly populated by Sharpedo. Though first thought to be camouflage, it was later discovered that this variant prefers Sharpedo as its prey.
Its face resembles an egg, tucked away in the center where it is protected by its many powerful, undulating vines. It tucks away abandoned eggs into its body, keeping them safe and warm beneath the tendrils.
Fusion has reduced Tangela's usual coating of vines, instead forming strong clumps of vines as limbs. It uses these mainly to reach fruits and berries atop trees it couldn't normally reach.
Most of Tanlax's vines reside internally within its stomach. When hungry, its writhing vines lurch out from its hidden mouth and grab as much food as possible to drag back to its rumbling belly.
The different-colored spots of Tanchu's vines are where it generates and stores its electricity. Even if not actively sparking, these points are dangerous, and will deliver a nasty shock on instinct if touched.
Numerous tentacles sprout from beneath the mushroom cap to give Tansect locomotion. The tips release spores into the ground as it walks, so everywhere it steps, fungi will grow.
The bolt-shaped tip of Electichu's tail is removable, and can be flung like a boomerang. Electric sparks copiously spill out of the tail until the tip is replaced, a testament to how much voltage Electichu stores internally.
Each of Electidreigon's heads are capable of discharging lightning at near-incalculable levels of voltage. The tendrils on its back absorb latent energies in the air to keep it constantly charged with electricity.
Electixio slaps its twin tails on the ground to shed sparks about as a warning sign to people getting too close. The tails toss lightning to its horns that then shoot out in all directions.

Sandtei was held in high regard by some ancient civilizations for its strength and regal appearance. Large statues depicting Sandtei have been found intact in the civilizations' ruins, managing to survive the tests of time.
Sandqueen digs out large burrows in the desert sands to cool down in. It shields smaller Pokémon from harm by curling into a ball around them, protecting them with its sturdy hide.
While walking around, Sandnea's plated body remains smooth, but when it curls into a ball, it extends dozens of cacti-like spines for self-defense. Getting hit by its rolling tackle leaves a target with many a painful puncture.
Sandtoy spins quickly to drill its way beneath the desert sand to hide itself from predators. It occasionally runs afoul of Trapinch and Diglett for ruining their own holes and tunnels.
Sandbell hangs from trees located near desert oases, sucking up insects that fly close to its gaping mouth. Its skin helps retain moisture, so a single sip of water will sustain it for a week.
The churning buzz generated by the flapping of Yanown's wings disrupts radio transmissions and electronics nearby. Its singular red eye glows ominously in pitch-black conditions.
Highly confident in its developing strength, Yantomp can vibrate its arms at rapid, almost imperceptible speeds. This strengthens its muscles, allowing it to clap its hands and create a potent shockwave to knock even the heaviest of opponents over.
Yanwile lies in wait until groups of smaller prey gather together. It then takes to the air, stunning them with shockwaves generated from its powerful wingbeat before snatching them up into its false jaws.

Leaftret likes to snack on leaves that have fallen off of trees during the verdant spring seasons. It uses its tail to boost itself up and get even fresher leaves off of low-hanging branches.
Leafreep's wool is actually tightly-packed foliage that lets it greatly absorb sunlight for photosynthesis. If kept properly groomed, small flowers may bloom on it when spring arrives.
A rare brightly-colored variant of Leafreep exists, most often spotted in coastal regions. After spending all day in the sunlight, its wool-like foliage will glow in the dark for a few hours.
The orb at the base of Leafreep's tail glows bright while it absorbs nutrients from sunlight. It also stores Leafreep's electricity, surging up its leafy tail before being fired off in quick bolts.

Leafgigas is thought to be in-tune with the souls of trees. It rests near the tallest and longest-living trees in its home, tending the soil near them and keeping them healthy.
Leafpuff's song puts others to sleep while aiding in the growth of plant life around it. They say anyone who falls asleep to its song in the wild will wake up surrounded by beautiful blooming flowers.
Leafra's preferred napping spot is within large piles of leaves to hide itself. If disturbed, it uses telekinesis to scatter the leaves and distract the intruder to help cover its escape via teleportation.
Glacetei has the ability to breathe out a chilling mist or burning flames, even able to swap between them without pausing for breath. It gets sick easily if the temperature around it isn't consistently moderate.
Glaceitar carves holes in the sides of giant glaciers to make its own personal den. Trespassers might only catch a fleeting glimpse of it before it blows them away with a torrential blizzard generated from the icy gem on its torso.

Flocking in colder regions, Glacegull casts a faint bit of frost and snow wherever it glides. When it needs to rest, it freezes a small spot of the water's surface to let it perch on and recuperate.
From the webbing between its claws, it produces ice constantly. It can pack this ice between its hands into extremely solid ice balls it will use to pelt unwelcome intruders in its territory.
Glisckle's diet consists of poisonous bugs and berries, making the juice it creates toxic as well. This poison juice was a known elimination tactic used by assassins in ancient Sinnoh times.

Tricky and malevolent forest spirits, Mawtump lull others into a false sense of security with the false wooden face they wear, pretending to be comforting or concerned so they can slip up closer to a victim and take a big bite.
Mawetta lives within abandoned homes, pretending to be a normal piano. Once an unsuspecting adventurer comes near, it springs to life and chases after them, gnashing its toothy maw.
Mawduo's twin mouths lie in wait, secreting faint smells to draw creatures in to be devoured. The two often try to steal food out of the other's mouth, despite sharing a stomach.
It buries itself in stone, leaving only a single part of its tail exposed above ground. When something touches this stone, Mawnix leaps from its tunnel and devours the unfortunate victim before diving back underground.
Tentacles protrude from a small portion of Lilpod's hard shell. Small insects that float within range will be snatched and pulled inside to be consumed as fuel to speed up its evolution.
Lilras dwells in areas with lots of kelp for it to feast upon. It has been observed batting around clams and shellfish on the ocean floor for fun.
Although it only has one extendable tongue, the antennae on Liltoed's head generate a similar sticky saliva that can trap insects for it to consume at its leisure later on.
Lilts hides itself in underwater dens, timid and afraid of most other aquatic denizens. Its many feelers sense the presence and emotions of others around it, letting it know when it is safe to peek out.
Liliard's lower body has excellent gripping power. It grapples onto larger opponents and ceaselessly stabs away at them with its blades until either victorious or knocked out.
Lilrachi's underwater habitat appears to be linked to where meteors fell into the ocean in prehistory. It remains relatively inactive, but nights of meteor showers see it becoming a much more active hunter.
It scuttles around the forest floors, licking at Tiny Mushrooms. Most are eaten right away, but those it particularly enjoys the taste of are attached to its back, carried to its home to be savored later.
Pokémon always seen together in a pair, sharing an obviously strong bond. The younger appears more energetic and naive, and is protected by the more aggressive and introverted older one.
Cradtyke inhabits shallow waters, waiting until it sees a large amount of small creatures congregating. It leaps out of the water and rolls around, its sticky appendages capturing the tiny morsels to be dragged back into the water for consumption.
Cradgrowth lives on the ocean floor, typically covering its body with seaweed and kelp. Its massive extendable arms reach out and snatch large fish that swim too close, making them easy meals.
Those put to sleep by Cradno's hypnosis dream vivid visions of a prehistoric world. Some scientists think exploring these dreams further could lead to archaeological discoveries.
The stalks jutting from the sides of Anopip's head are its actual eyes. The eye-like pattern on its face changes depending on its mood.
Anoceus's eyes are quite powerful, able to see clearly for miles in all directions. Even the tiniest of bugs won't escape its sight as it hunts for them around the coastal forests it tends to inhabit.
Anomence's impressive size and wingspan cuts an imposing visage, but its behavior is simple and non-confrontational. It spends much of its time in the air, swooping down only to dig up tree bark and feast on insects hiding beneath.
The feathery plumage hides gills that allow Anorunt to function underneath the water as well as on land. Due to its mass, it doesn't swim well, instead walking along the ocean floor and digging for food.
The mushrooms growing on Anoras's back are a type thought to have gone extinct millions of years ago. As the fungi can only grow on Anoras itself, care is taken to protect the species to help further scientific research.
Armorb rolls around the depths of the ocean, shuffling its claws through the sand to dig for food. If it thinks it has chanced upon a prey's den, it creates a small explosion with one claw to blow away the sand and reveal the morsels within.
Armaura is primarily found in cooler, wetter regions of the world, subsisting on moss, algae and the occasional insect. The frills on its neck and head are coated with a very faint layer of frost.
Craneon bathes in water constantly to keep its cranium clean and pristine. It's not aggressive by nature, but anything that causes its dome to become filthy is in for a painful, pointed charging headbutt.
Crantini sheds its skin regularly, which leaves its domed skull soft and weakened afterward. It immediately goes around headbutting things to quickly toughen it back up.
The hard plating on Cranpuff's head produces a sharp clanging that varies in pitch depending on how it was struck. It headbutts things and uses the tone created to help it tune its singing.
Its cranium is so sturdy that it's thought to be completely invulnerable. Once, a misfired cannon shot struck a nearby Ramdon; the cannonball shattered on impact, and Ramdon neither flinched nor noticed.
It is still developing its dance and mimicry skills, and is quite self-critical. If Shiel Jr. fails to perfectly copy a dance or action, it hits its own resilient skull plate while throwing a tantrum.
Shielperior play with each other by launching small rocks from their hands at the other, reflecting them back at the thrower by bouncing the stones off of their solid skulls.
Shielvoir always stands close to its Trainer, regarding itself as something of a bodyguard. It creates psychic shields in front of itself and its allies, bouncing attacks back before flinging its constructs at the attacker.
Bastiouna's extremely resilient cocoon stores the kinetic energy of strikes made against it. If something attacks it, the force they applied will be immediately rebounded back, injuring its attacker while its shell remains unharmed.
The top and bottom layers of Bastiotress's body are nigh-impenetrable, with only the small area between them being vulnerable. To protect its weak spots, it fires high-speed metal shards from the holes on its sides.
Bastiotei travels quickly across the land defending the weak, stopping bullies mid-strike with its sturdy skull. It gives the perpetrators one chance to back away and avoid conflict, acting mercilessly to those who don't heed the warning.
Bastioish's durable body makes it able to take a head-on collision from a speeding car and barely flinch. Its rocky leaves are less sturdy, however, and may fly off after a sufficiently powerful impact.
Slapie spends much of its time sleeping inside trees. It only wakes up to devour every leaf on the tree in a feeding frenzy, then goes straight back to its constant hibernation.
Slagela lumbers around slowly in tall grass areas, poking around for food and swatting at anything that bothers it with its huge arms. Its vines, if removed and steamed, make a meal that invokes drowsiness in those that eat it.
Because the joey spends most of its time sleeping and requires little food, Slakhan is a rather lax parent. It is one of the few Kangaskhan fusions that allows others to hold its young for extended periods.
Slafree takes its time consuming the nectar of entire fields of flowers. It violently punts anything that comes too close while it is eating; even much larger Pokémon can be sent flying by its kick.
Tiny and lazy, Slaper only needs to feed once a week, loafing the rest of its time away. Even yawning is treated like a strenuous activity for Slaper.
Highly attached to their Trainer but extremely lazy at heart, Slavoir uses psychic powers to subtly influence its Trainer to live a more indolent lifestyle like it does.
Slawile stores berries in its false mouth so it can lengthen the time between hunts for food. Occasionally, it may injure itself trying to store too much at once in this effort to be lazy.
It rarely moves, so an ecosystem of small Pokémon flourishes on its back. This suits Slaterra just fine, as it can feed on leftover bits of their meals that fall from above, letting it remain sedentary longer.
Legends say it sleeps somewhere far above the clouds, and that should humanity's follies wake it from its slumber, it will descend with great fury and put all of humanity to rest.
Slablim enlists help from Drifloon in order to fly, as it's too heavy to float on its own power. It commands them to carry it to areas rich in fruit, so it can drop down and gorge itself.
Slapuff's singing is quite cacophonous, as it doesn't bother to practice and hone its skill. Listeners often feign sleep to make it stop more quickly; the resulting indignant wrath is still less painful than its song.
Slabas is usually content to float placidly in water, ignoring most of its surroundings. Should something agitate it, however, it will fly into a thrashing rage potent enough to give a Gyarados pause.
Many falsely assume the two Pokémon work in tandem to trap unfortunate victims, but in reality the Slaking is trying to save any creature Palossand tries to sneakily capture and hide within itself.
Its wings have atrophied from lack of use and even the fire on its tail hardly smolders when it deigns to move around. If angered, however, Slaizard's fire will erupt into a blazing inferno used to immolate the target of its ire.
The twin flails of Nidoblade strike hard and fast against all opposition. Though normally it carefully coordinates its attacks, if a child is in danger it goes berserk with protective instincts and enters a whirling frenzy to smash the threat.
Nidoking is powerfully aggressive, but also has a strong maternal instinct to protect anything smaller than it. Some have even been seen getting into fights with Kangaskhan over who could better protect the child.
Abchu creates images made of sparks above it in an attempt to warn others of impending disasters. Because its powers are weak, however, the images are vague or misinterpreted, and its warnings often go unheeded.
Absly possesses the ability to foresee disasters, crying when it receives the precognitive visions. Researchers have found it cries differently depending on the kind of disaster, and use this to more quickly decipher its warnings.
Abking uses its strength and intimidating appearance to frighten villages into evacuating before disasters strike. In the past it was believed to be the cause, but now it's known that it merely acts the villain to hasten people fleeing to safety.
Abkyu seeks to improve the poor image of Absol, by doing good deeds while disguised to resemble it. This slowly garners it the friendship of Absol and humans alike as the damaged reputation is repaired.
Duscute's shells are fragile, so they band together tightly and try to frighten off any potential dangers. Working together, they can use psychic powers to project a fearsome skull visage above them to better scare off attackers.

Said in some legends to harvest the souls of the malevolent, Duspom swings a massive scythe wielded by the skeletal arms jutting from its body. It lets out a distinctive cackling shriek as it reaps its target.
Dustom is considered a bit of a menace, due to the fact that any electronic it possesses will cease to function after it leaves it. Sadly this is unintentional and involuntary on Dustom's part.
Duselgon moves very little, awaiting evolution while protected by a shell made of dense and sturdy bone. Those that gaze into its glowing red eyes too long swear they see the image of a demon developing within its shell.
Dusra has incredibly weak defenses, but a lot of determination. In battle, it constantly teleports to endlessly dodge until its opponent gives up out of exhaustion or frustration.
Dusbell's hunting strategy is to phase through foliage in the darkest of night, startling its target with its stark skull-like visage. With its prey frozen in fear from the display, Dusbell swallows it whole.
The bones on Dusmite's side emit faint levels of magnetism as well as a strange spiritual aura. When the bones vibrate and rattle, other Ghost-Type Pokémon in the vicinity gather around it.
When in combat, Dusclade extends blades from its elbows comprised of a strange spectral energy. It's said that these blades will cut an opponent down to their very soul.
Duscgrigus resides in ancient crypts, lying dormant with its eye socket seemingly empty. If a graverobber should stumble upon it, however, its singular eye will appear, glowing red as it attempts to drag the thief into the hollow socket.
Duscdash's giant eye glows brightly in the dark of night, as does its crimson flames. Superstitions say that if you catch one staring at you, it is a sign of impending doom.
A Dusknoir has taken pity on the soul of a dead Cubone yet to avenge its mother. The skeleton walks again, granted a fraction of Dusknoir's power with which to finish its business.
