The oily substance covering its body becomes sticky when mixed with water and becomes like tree resin as well. Because Venuwhirl prefers to spend much of its time in water, it favors areas with trees where it may scrape off this sticky "oil".
Its body surface is always wet and slick with an oily fluid. Venuwhirl's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight.
