Zangoose is the dominant consciousness in Zanmask. Some suggest it carries the grudges and spirits of Zangoose that fell in combat against Seviper; Zanmask often lashes out and growls at nothing in particular, as if constantly upset.
These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. When it battles, it stands on its hind legs and attacks with its sharply clawed forelegs.
