Woodra lay clutches of eggs at the bottom of lakes and squirts a gel over them to protect them. When they hatch, the young Pokémon eat through the gel, giving them enough energy to survive on their own.
The poisonous barbs all over its body are highly valued as ingredients for making traditional herbal medicine. Woodra usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally.
