Despite living underwater, Woowick's flame never extinguishes. This was used as proof by pre-modern scientists for the existence of phlogiston, a colourless, odourless, tasteless, weightless substance existing in all combustible objects.
While shining a light and pretending to be a guide, it leeches off the life force of any who follow it. Woowick usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally.
