Though its round body prevents full flight, Wingmer can flap vigorously to keep itself gliding for a time. It bounces across the water's surface, following Wingull flocks and Wailord pods in the wild.

While this Pokémon usually lives in the sea, it can survive on land, although not too long. It makes its nest on a sheer cliff at the edge of the sea.
